Not quite related to this deal but I wanted a shed at B&Q and they wanted 25 quid to deliver and I was told it was delivery only , yet I was looking at the kits in their yard. I said I had a van in the carpark ."Sorry sir Delivery only" Have some heat anyway because I now feel better after my little rant.
IKEA delivery is so expensive otherwise would have bought this ! Not sure it's gna fit in a fiesta :disappointed:

Anyone know if there are shelves for the main bit as well as the side section? Or if ikea sell them seperately?
Have 6 open plastic shelving units I'd like to change to cupboards.
anewman to jacksonliam
1 Sep 161#16
The big section has a rail across and one shelf. I wouldn't bother trying to fit extra shelves. If you want something more flexible look for the Pax stuff - I've sometimes seen the Pax barebones wardrobes, and doors, in the Bargain corner for £10 each. Then you have to buy hinges, door handles, shelves etc.

in scandinavian languages Å is pronounced 'or' or like the a in tall and an emphasis would be placed on the B (certainly in norwegian which I know better than swedish) so phonetically would be Dom bors so not quite Dumbass but I get where you're coming from lol

True, but shelves is also the plural form of the singular noun, NOT shelfs..
Also picked it up in our Fiesta.. as others have said.. it's in 2 boxes and quite heavy! (I then had to empty the parts and carry up 2 flights of stairs)
Be warned.. it is flimsy.. but at £59, cheap enough (will be adding an additional rail inside)

I had the Aneboda wardrobe (even cheaper) and the pre-assembled door fell to pieces after about 6 months (it fell on a guest). There was no carpentary 'joint' as such in the frame - held together paperboard with dowels, and a bit of wood glue. It was always going to fall to bits. I didn't strap the thing to the wall though. I think I adjusted with a spirit level.

This site is nowhere near what it was a couple of years ago - now whether that is down to the people who are posting, or the lack of really good deals...... I don't know, but as a businessman myself, I'd love to know.
Actually, around the time one of the most prolific posters of 'lads' deals' (lingerie related usually) became a mod, I noticed things were changing - coincidence or not, who knows.
I used to have a look on here several times a night and very often found I'd missed something great because I hadn't looked often enough, but now there can be over a week go by and nothing tempts me at all.

Bad spelling is only one of the signs that our education system is awful - blame all the left wing pc brigade for trying to ensure that all kids are to be treated equally, so that none of them feels a failure, and so the brightest kids often have to twiddle their thumbs in class whilst the sons and daughters of benefit scroungers, druggies etc hold everyone up because they've been drinking fizzy pop since nursery (the place where mummy puts them so she can chat to mates all day instead of reading books and playing games with them), and have to be taught the alphabet and how to write their own name.
Honestly, I don't live in a very bad area or anything, but the standards in schools these days - of pupils as well as staff sadly - is poor, with swearing not even punished as many staff pretend not to hear it so they don't have to deal with the parents I suppose, and in some cases it's because the staff themselves don't have any great moral standards and are covered in tattoos and piercings.
Quite sure I'll get blasted by a few for this rant, but I really don't care, as I hate the way my country is going downhill rapidly - if it carries on much longer it won't be the country my ancestors fought for any longer (and I wonder how many people reading this cannot even claim that).

Got one a week ago, moved into a new unfurnished flat. This was cheaper than any second wardrobe and nothing beats new. The quality is fine. Don't know what people expect for 60 quid. If you need a wardrobe and there's an Ikea near you, why not? The other colours aren't much more expensive and if you're within Ikea's 'home' range, the delivery is just £25.
