A car with 9 passengers! where do you put the wine?
So two of us can just bomb over in a car, pay ~£30 for a trip to Calais and get 6 bottles of wine for free? Sign me up!

I regularly travel this route, but on the train and it is getting really bad with the migrants. That's just my experience, others may not have had this, but if you do, it is really unpleasant.
Shame as it's a good deal this...

These day trip deals are great value for buying cheap wine and Calais and cheap cigarettes in Adinkerke (Belgium). I've done over 20 such trips and have never had any problems with the migrants in Calais - the Daily Mail love to exaggerate the issue in order to give their owner more sway with politicians.

Are the deals that good with the pound-euro rate at the moment? Been ages since I went that way.

The last time I travelled back, on September 8th, there were running battles between the police and the migrants, on the motorway. There were hundreds of police with tear gas, rocks being thrown, cars being attacked...
The tension in that camp is running very high and will only get worse as more turn up.

The situation at calais is worse between 11pm and 6am. I'm a coach driver and I go over twice a month, sometimes more. It isn't very nice. If anything, the news don't portray how bad it is. I have had the immigrants climbing all over my coach. I've had them trying to get in. They never seem to bother cars though.
