They seem broadly similar, the Cubot has more RAM, the Pepsi has a better SoC so there's not a great deal between them.
Pepsi has a bigger screen, bigger battery.
Cubot runs Android 6.
Don't go for the Pepsi phone, the CPU on that was one of the 1st gen which had alot of God connection issues. This is alot better with the new gen CPU , power efficient and running on 6.0 platform. Your not got have any connection issues in this and supports 4g

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but. Don't go for the P1S unless you're ready to format the whole thing and flash a new rom (which there are very few of) as there are about 7 malware virus' floating around out of the box. Which is a shame because it's not bad hardware for the money at all. I've got one sitting on the shelf right now cause I'm too lazy to sort it out. Bought a Lenovo ZUK Z1 from eBay for £125 and this phone is a beast for that price imho. Especially in the battery department... And more importantly, zero malware.

Where'd you get that from? Seems excessive to me...
gearbest site, I thought that it was excessive. on GB full site it tells you weight of package and weight of phone

Have some heat, looks like an amazing buy, dual sim and band 20 4g (o2) will be huge selling points, if it gets good independent reviews I will pick one up at that price.

Would there be duties and vat to be paid if ordered from gearbest?

ive never paid duty on 10+ phones and tablets. just select normal shipping. it seems to be people who select dhl get stung. however there is always a risk.

Good point, as I thought my own weight at 200g's was bad enough?. :-(

I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole looking at that battery. Then again, the battery will last longer with Android 6, although only really if the phone is idle.

Looks good for the price - 800 MHz (band 20) is a 4G must in the UK

Depends on your network. My Doogee X5 doesn't have band 20 but 4G works fine on '3'. If you live in the sticks you hardly ever get 4G anyway. Went to Wales last month and was lucky to get just a phone signal. It may be a 'must' if you are on O2, live in London and use the internet a lot on your phone.

Since you don't have band 20 ability, how can you comment?
All four UK networks are currently deploying 800 MHz 4G extensively.
3 doesn't have any low frequency 2G/3G coverage - they use 800 MHz for 3 Supervoice:wink:

3, EE and possibly some others use band 3 (1800MHz) for 4G so my X5 Pro without band 20 can get 4G via band 3.
It may be that those carriers will not support Band 3 in the future if I read your comment correctly ?
