4150mAh battery and 3GB RAM is pretty astonishing at this price. No gyroscope, though. Some are saying GiffGaff 4G doesn't work (?), another reviewer says the networks are limited to Orange and O2 (?). A few moans about the camera and battery life.
The CPU is MTK6735, Quad-Core, 1.3GHz - apparently it can take up to a 128GB MicroSD card.
About Dual SIM: "Three slots on this phone, unlike some where you must choose sim or sd in slot 2."
It has a notification light, though apparently it's tiny.
One reviewer is complaining about Bluetooth capability "1.The Bluetooth is very intermittent with audio devices. Sometimes you have to turn Bluetooth off and on to hear audio.
2.Videos on Facebook and Youtube won't play video just the audio."
(a few on the Amazon Q&A say they have no problems with Bluetooth audio, however) 3.It takes a very long time to charge. It will probably take you 8 hours or so to fully charge from flat, this doesn't really bother me because the battery seems to last forever so an overnight charge is more than enough."
(not sure if using a 2amp charger would improve the charging time).
Some are saying you have to flash this phone as it goes into sleep mode after about 10 minutes and apps stop (!)
One Amazon reviewer says: "Simply, you use the phone and then put it down. You have sent a text message to a mate and you are waiting for a reply. It aint gonna happen if the message is sent after a ten minute period. For some reason the phone goes to sleep and will not accept any messages.
A way to test this was .... On my Note 2 I sent a message to the Cubot. The two blue ticks tell me the message is sent while the phone is on and all is good. I then wait ten minutes and send another message from my phone. The single tick displays but it will not deliver the message and the two ticks ( grey for delivered ) do not display. I check the Cubot and it hasn't received the message. I turn on the Cubot and then the message is displayed on the notification bar.
I emailed Cubot and received the email from them with a link to the patch...this is the link http://forum.cubot.net/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=998
Once you have downloaded this you then follow these steps to flash it:
settings – about phone – wireless update – local updates(on the right top corner) – internal storage - select the files which you just downloaded - install now - THIS WILL CARRY OUT A FLASH AND WILL DELETE ALL THE APPS AND ASSOCIATED ITEMS LIKE PHOTOS .... MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THEM ALL FIRST.
So am I happy with the Cubot Dinosaur ? You bet I am. Time will tell if it becomes problematic"

Well spotted, that's clearer than Amazon. Why does Appliances Direct omit any info about bands in it's 'Tech Specs'? If you discover the phone has a band missing, it'll be harder to send back.

Definitely no 800 MHz/band 20 so Three users for one should avoid. Only Amazon's listing reveals this, very remiss of AO to try and dodge the issue.

mine arrived today and to be honest it's great for the price I scanned it with malware bytes and kaspersky anti virus it came out clear , I turned off the intelligent battery saver app which should stop background apps not getting notifications , I have an SU6 with the "touch screen problem" and a Nexus 5x that I dropped and smashed the screen ...ouch !! so needed a cheap handset for a year until my contract is up this fits the bill perfectly for me on its not android 7.0 like the Nexus but it's better than the su6 and because I got it from OP's link I get a year u.k warranty so I'm happy with that

battery charges ok on a 2a charger from my old su6 ,gets warm during use/charging but not super hot ! haven't tried my tartan tech charger in it yet but I got 30+ hours from first charge so considering I did all the set up etc and lots of games and browsing I'm impressed with battery life miles better than my Nexus 5x which lasted about 9 hours max !!

Oh right, what features don't work on your OS? I haven't had an issue since I had an old Windows phone that was aimed at high end but it was back in the day when the technology wasn't there yet so it crashed a lot. Last update improved my power usage, this update has given my phone a few extra features and some conveniences.

Not sure why they keep bringing new ones out, seems to be just because they can. I think less and less people care. It's not like they got the old ones working before moving on..

That's a fair point. I have had to return one for being a bit vague on the GPS but the one I've got is nailed on now. Works perfectly with Bluetooth devices, videos work great and Giffgaff 4G definitely works! It looks as if there are some duff ones floating around though. Luckily mine is not!

It definitely works on Giffgaff 4G as that's what I have. It plays all videos I try on it from YouTube, Facebook etc. The notification light works fine. No lag and the battery lasts forever. normally put it on to charge each night after a day's heavy use at about 30-40%. My Bluetooth headphones run great with it as does my Bluetooth car stereo. The camera takes photos. I imagine for photo enthusiasts it's some way off the mark but it does the job for me with family snaps and the like. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, it's bulky, it's got a crap name but for the money it's pretty astonishing value. And it comes with a case in the box, with a tempered glass screen protector already fitted and running Marshmallow.

Bought this phone a few weeks ago. First android phone I've had. No problems at all. Actually loving the phone. The specs are fantastic for the price.
And after having it a few days, I decided to buy my daughter the cubot rainbow. Now I've got a 10 year old reviewing that. And no complaints so far either.

with China mobiles its always good to do abit of research online and always handy if you can find custom ROMs etc or at least know someone who has abit of knowhow. there's usually a nice bunch of people on YouTube with instructional videos too. just my 2 pence
