Even my T20 II switch to standby after some time in idle, but it automatically switches back once new input is received.

These better (louder with better bass) than the logitech equivalents, so the Z333 and Z323 I think it is? Ignoring the Bluetooth aspect as not really interested in that.

I sold 3 sets of Z323 to CeX and bought 2 sets of T20 II from them few months ago.
I do not have the space for 2.1 speakers on TV stands.

Does anyone know if these switch off automatically if they don't receive any input?
(the speakers in my bedroom stay on and "hum" after I have turned the TV off)

Same here, looking for some speakers which I can hook up to my chromecast but when not in use, switch off and not hum.

The Amazon reviews have a common complaint that they do switch off automatically!

I have a set of T40s connected to my tv that are supposed to switch into standby after a certain time but they just continue to stay on with a slight hum when the tv is off so I wouldn't trust what the manufacturers say.
But in all fairness they do sound good good when the tvs on and far better than the soundbar I had previously.
bought some T20's years ago and still going strong with great sound

How loud are these?, looking for an alternative to the built in speakers of my TV, i find myself putting the volume up a considerable amount just to hear my TV from 3 metres away in my living room... was thinking of a AV receiver and speaker setup or a dolby surround but not keen on wiring or too many little speakers around the room

It'll be better than the TV's speakers.

id go with a sound bar + sub although can't beat an av receiver with the full 5.1 setup. A Bluetooth setup for the TV sounds like a ball ache.

I have the smaller, cheaper T10s hooked up to main TV and they are a good improvement over the standard TV speakers. These T30s should be a vast improvement. Tempted to get some myself.

Time for a hearing test?
But nothing beats a full on AV set-up, wires can always be bundled and hidden away quite effectively.

I have the T20 II and it has the Gigaworks branding. It appears to be missing on the wireless T30.

what are the differences between T20 and T30 apart from T30 is wireless.
T20 II is £60.
T30 is wireless and cheaper.
But T20 has better reviews despite higher price and less functions.
I have few sets of T20 at home.

Excellent price, I bought some T20's in 2008... they are still going strong so can't justify the upgrade!!
