I bought these a few years ago for 150 (which was the cheapest at the time!). They are a cracking set of 2.1s. The only bad point is the volume is a physical knob (albeit on a wire) so you cannot control the volume remotely.
They sound extremely good, especially with gaming or action movies due to the sub.

No good for use instead of a soundbar then?

Waste of money, a good quality 90s micro hifi (think JVC) with aux input can be had for £20-30, which would blow this out the water. I wasted £50 on a pair of Giga T20's... crap in comparison.

I'm not sure where this 'powerful' subwoofer is? Am I missing something?

Many negative reviews about the volume controller on this unit on amazon. Appears that after a year it's common for the volume to fluctuate. You do get a two year warranty from creative on purchasing though.

I've got an old set of T3's up in the loft because of this issue. You can fix it with some electrical cleaner, but taking the volume controller apart is messy.
While they lasted, they were fantastic though. Better than the HK Soundsticks I bought to replace them.
As dem yoof would say, "the bomb" - or something, I'm too old & out of step. These are top though.

Just ordered! Been after a good 2.1 pc system for a while. I work from home and almost always have movie or tv show streaming on a monitor. Thank you.
All the reviews I can find say they are great!

Sorry for the late reply on this (although the offer is still live by the looks of it). As you have to adjust the volume manually I would say not really ideal as a soundbar. You could of course come up with a way around this, but essentially they're more of a classic 2.1. It depends what's important to you.
I use them in my bedroom and don't mind having to change the volume manually as much. In the living room this wouldn't be great though.
They do sound very good though, one of the best 2.1s I've heard (price taken into consideration). For games and action movies, they perform exceptionally well.

Anyone saying anything bad about these is nuts! There very very good. Better than my denon bookshelf speakers for my Hi Fi and half the price. Very happy op :wink::wink:
