Just got 10% in Croydon :disappointed: the discount has made having an nus card worth it though.

The Co-op will soon be introducing an additional 5% card discount, on top of the existing 10%, when buying own brand products.

Co-op and the Midcounties Co-Operative are separate businesses. Please adjust the title and the photo if you don't want to disappoint people. On the other hand, they could probably use their brains instead, I suppose. For a treat.

I just got usual 10% off. Never been refused in London, Hertfordshire or Berkshire stores.

It certainly includes wine at Morrisons because I've just used it. Don't know about beer or spirits

They are group stores (head office Manchester). Central England have many stores in Leicester (head office Litchfield) that don't take it. As an example Mill Lane Enderby don't take it.

If you look on the coop store finder it tells you who runs which site.

I've been refused in both the Co-Op's local to me in Stirchley/ Cotteridge in Birmingham with just the normal 10% discount. The staff member at the till said it was only valid if I used it in a Central England store.

20% on any Midcounties Coops until the end of this month. Then 10% afterwards.

Some Co-Ops can't do student discount if you give them the Co-Op loyalty card first, I think it is called dividends card. Either the software messes up or the till operators just don't know how to get around it.

Including alcohol, wonder if Jim Morrison's will also oblige the discerning drinker that is the young scholar?

The Co-op loyalty scheme has always been crap. They don't even seem able to send out key fobs, which would make it so much easier to earn loyalty points. Here's hoping they've actually included some key fobs under this new scheme.

It's only NUS Extra right? Or does regular NUS work as well? You've normally got to pay for the extra card. When I had one years ago it was £10

We are surrounded by co-op stores where I live, and compared to the other main supermarkets I find co-op stores pretty bad in terms of staff / service, variety and quality of food and prices / offers (the very limited one in this post is a good example). They also have a convoluted loyalty system. Sorry for the mini-rant, maybe I'm the only one who feels this way.

10% off baby formula isn't to be sniffed at, 20% even better

I was told by the cashier, if you have coop membership card, from 21st September you get 20℅ off on all coop products

Used mine in lots of Scottish stores without issue. Many staff were not clued up about it but just asked them to swipe it and it worked fine.

Nus card is on the way. Good time for co op to give 20% discount. Heat added
