Cheapest it's been for a while (I usually buy stuff like this out of season for the best prices!). Had this for over a year now, it's been out all Winter and still in excellent condition. The secret is to treat it with some sort of weather resistant coating (gave mine 2 coats of yacht varnish) and it should last for years. Genuinely makes sitting out in the garden with a loved one a very pleasant experience. We wouldn't be without it now.

This classic tete-a-tete design is brought back to life with simplistic shapes and great functionality. The chair also includes a 5cm parasol hole for those days when you need some extra shade.

Assembly is quick and easy, and requires only one person. The chair is constructed with robust, hand selected FSC certified eucalyptus hardwood and is fixed together with quality galvanised steel hardware.
The Chichester tete-a-tete chair has been pre-treated with ScanCom’s Hardwood sealer oil to bring out the natural colour and beautiful texture of the Eucalyptus wood. ScanCom sealer oil also gives the product excellent weather resistance. We recommend retreating this chair annually with hardwood sealer oil to ensure long life.
The Chichester te-a-tete chair has been rigorously tested at our own manufacturing facility in Vietnam during its development. Following strict EU testing standards, we test for UV resistance, water resistance, material behavior, shock resistance, furniture construction and stability in order to provide you with a strong, long lasting and safe product.
This furniture is recommended for domestic use only.

This is the stuff I always use. Travels well, too. Much more expensive in St Tropez.

I use red cedar fence paint as its just about an exact match. Keeps it good for a couple of years before re applying.

wouldn't recommend this seat to anyone who doesn't have a flat garden as any slight changes on ground level it doesn't like.

You really do need to treat it. A clue to me was before I yatch varnished it the first rain shower just soaked right in. Which isn't what you want at all. Now, the rain just rolls off it.
