Cheapest online is £475. Picked them up with a red clearance sticker at £66. Think its around £130 without clearance sticker. Still a steal at £130 if you can find them in stock, considering seconds cost between 100-200. Uses the 208 last which is a classic closer fitting, with arch support.

-five tie Austerity brogue in high quality black calf leather
If the ones in store are the same as the website then they're branded as Joseph Cheaney, not
Cheaney.
I suspect this is a lower priced, lower quality diffusion line, which I'm sure are very good quality, but probably not up to the standard of Cheaney's higher end products.

The balmoral is part of the imperial collection which is the highest quality line they stock. See below
If anyone is size 6.5, they had the cheaney broad which is a black brogue in stock at Poole TK Maxx for similar price. The broad retails about £260, is also calf uppers, leather sole and goodyear welt. It uses the 11208 last which is quite roomy .

Wear rubber soles on wet days, save leather for dry days. Or get cobbler to fit rubber soles. If suit particularly matches with a leather soled shoe, one could use galoshes

Tkmaxx is like a glorified charity shop, everything on sale all over the place, no stock system.. It's pot luck what you find on the day, might be lucky one day and not so another. (These must have slight manufacture defect to be this cheap... If there's a shop that specialize in this let me know I don't mind a little scuff).
Anyway, the above comment about learher shoe in winter and breaking into it, I think the orginal comment is talking about the leathery sole of the shoe being slippery (not breaking into brand new ones).
There is a new rubber material that these posh shoe companies use.

Lol, the people commenting on this post obviously have absolutely no idea what they're on about
Cheaney (Joseph cheaney if you like) are of the highest quality, seriously worth their price and £60 is an absolute steal

pointless post. You might as well post a deal that you found a tenner in the street.

Be warned: leather soles in UK weather can be lethal. Fine in the summer, but turn into slicks in the wet or ice.

look like regular smart shoes people wear all the time, can't believe they were nearly £500 originally, I'll just stick with my nikes thanks.
I bought pair of these 5 years ago, been re-soled twice, still going strong. You get what you pay for.

brilliant deal, looking at the picture looks like they have a fluted sole, so getting a full resole will be a bit more expensive, but crazy good price.

Should've gone to Specsavers.
No comparison between these and Clarks, one is cheaply made in the far east - ok for 6 months, Cheaney shoes if looked after could last you a lifetime.
