Guaranteed you're the d1ck that puts his seat back before taking off, needs telling personally to put their window blind up for landing and thinks air travel was invented just for them. Besides anything else... do BA even fly to Benidorm

taking a baby on a 10+ hour flight is a completely selfish act by the parents. it's not as if the baby can appreciate different cultures. at least wait until they've become sentient beings. Failing that then a sedative would've sufficed or leaving it at home with it's grandparents. if anyone's ignorant then it's the parents of this brat or your vain attempts at trolling.

Who on here would be willing to pay a premium for an adults only flight?

To be honest many adults turn into children the minute they enter an airport, so i'm dubious of the value of such a proposition  Moreover, given Ryan Air deals are so popular on here, I would surmise that many on here are prepared to tolerate a hell of a lot to save a few £'s
Little things that people do at airports really surprise and annoy me :/ For example crowding around the luggage conveyer. Just step back a few feet for gods sake, its not going anywhere fast. Instead everyone stands right against the belt, meaning far fewer people can see if their luggage is coming and when it does you need to be a contortionist to be able to get it.

Calm down everyone. I'm sure given the choice we'd all rather avoid being stuck for hours in a confined space with a child(ren) screaming at the top of their lungs.
I recall last year I was on a flight and shortly after take off a baby girl started crying. Unfortunately there was a bit of turbulence so the seat belt signs remained on for 45 mins, so no one could get up including the parents to try and calm her down. Worse still after 20 mins of this she set off all the other children in the flight. It was like a chorus of screams going down the cabin.
How I wished I was on a different flight :disappointed: Unfortunately that wasn't an option as she was my baby. My wife and I felt like dying of embarrassment.

Dear me, we live in a society were everyone gets on their high horse over a light hearted comment - it was hardly the most offensive comment in the world. Did my comment add any value - of course not, just like 99% of the comments on HUKD. And finally, no offence taken, if you wish to judge people based on a 2 sentence comment then that is your look out. Have a good weekend, and please, lighten up.

Dear me we live in such a tolerant society don't we ? I think we all find screaming babies and tantrum children a less than pleasant situation, especially in a confined space and of course its your choice when you travel, but do your comments really add any value, do u get frustrated with the dithery OAP at the checkout too ? One thing for sure is we have all been there as a baby/child ourself and made someone's ears ring, and most of us want to be that dithering OAP living in the community. With respect I find your comments a reflection of you as a person

Babies can't clear their ears, they also don't understand why they are forced to stay in one place for upwards of 10 hours (as per your HK flight). It must've been awful for you, an adult so ignorant to anyone else to have had to listen to a baby in pain. Poor you. Genuinely.

I can assure you I am not, I hate people that but their seats back, especially on short haul flights (fully approve of airlines fitting non-reclining seats), but equally I hate some little sh*t kicking the back of my seat while the parents just let them get on with it. I didn't know anyone flew to Benidorm, does it have an airport now?

i agree with you. i took a flight from Hong Kong to Heathrow a few years back. it screamed for almost the entire flight. I've never wanted my plane to crash more than that flight. over ear headphones are now my best friend as well as paying for extra leg room

All journeys MUST either begin or end at London. (The quoted text makes it appear like you can go between any of the airports listed).
