Good deal but I can't trust Telltale after Minecraft. I'll buy this thinking I'll get all the episodes and then they will release something like the full edition where I'm going to have to buy further episides.

Just wondering, how does this compare to the other telltale games so far?

I have played all the telletale story mode games and in my opinion its the best.
It follows the same structure as all the rest with a couple of slight improvements, for example the fight sequences require a few new combinations and there is a new function where you have to link together evidence.
The story is very good, and if your a Fan of Batman you will like it, if your not a huge fan of Batman but did like the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy or the TV series Gotham you will feel right at home.

Can I ask how this works? It seems like a sort of quasi-physical-digital deal.
Obviously the first epsisode is on the disc, but is it a code for the rest? And if so, does that mean you can't sell it on?

From what I can put together it's a one episode disc that lets you download and play the rest of the series as long as the disc is in, a bit like Minecraft TT

Is this broken like Back to the Future was? Must have crashed 100 times through the 5 episodes, not even exaggerating...

They've had 6 years and countless games released since BttF
Yep, still broken :stuck_out_tongue:

I'll never buy a Telltale game again until they are completed, I enjoy their games but they are completely incapable of sticking to a release schedule. I don't enjoy playing a game with 2/3 month gaps inbetween episodes.

Hope they'll re-release it after all episodes are out so that it won't be needed to download the rest of the chapters.

Don't hold your breath - see the examples of Minecraft: Story Mode and Game of Thrones.

I can't believe they'd release this with just one episode on the physical disc... what is the point? Surely this would only appeal to people who'd invest in digital downloads anyway... I just hope the next Walking Dead game doesn't suffer the same fate :disappointed:

See my post above - they have form on this type of release.

So just to clarify, does owning the disc mean you can only download the future episodes for one PSN account? If not it should be alright to sell this on in the future once you've had your fill of it.
Still waiting for it to drop between £10-£15 as even though it'll be well produced, knowing Telltale they'll allow a price cut on PSN/Xbox Live with the release of episode 3 (they did this with The Wolf Among Us/Game of Thrones so anyone who buys the season pass on release gets gipped).

I haven't bought this yet but I did buy Game of Thrones from Telltale and it was missing the last episode on the disc. The disc acted as the pass for the final episode, so there was no code necessary and I sold the game on after no problem.
I suspect this game is the same but unfortunately I can't confirm.

The downloads shouldn't be locked to an account, no.

I can now confirm there is no code and the disc acts as the pass
