Every game gets discounted, only downside is you have to wait a while.

Important point is that only the first episode is on disc the reset you will have to download anyway, question is can anyone download the rest of the episodes? or is there a code, basically can you flog the disc once you played all episodes after its all released. Will the next person be able to download all episodes?

The exact same reason that I'll wait for this to be super cheap. I love their games, but Back to the Future was completely broken. Having to save after every single cut scene to avoid replaying when it crashes got annoying pretty quickly... Must have crashed 100 times through 5 episodes!

This is a season pass disc
The disc grants you access to the new episodes as they are released over the course of the year.
Defeats the purpose of buying a physical disc and it's no cheaper than buying on the Xbox store.
Stupid idea to release blank discs and I hope it doesn't catch on
100% aree. After this game, I refuse to support Telltale anymore. Can you imagine back in the N64/PS1 era releasing an unfinished game?? It was unheard of. Mario 64, Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy 7 were released (albeit with minor glitches) but they were released as a full game. Selling a disk and then expecting people to download the rest of the game as it gets released is ridiculous.
I've supported Telltale for a while but their gimmick is wearing off now.

If it's anything like Minecraft: Story Mode they can be traded in and used again as it doesn't tie the downloads to your account.

I think Telltale games should be bought digitally, always on sale for less than £10 each (sometimes around £6), and even cheaper using credit from cdkeys, which at that price makes the argument of resale value redundant (in my opinion). Played all the previous ones apart from Walking Dead Michone and Borderlands, which I am currently playing through, and highly recommend them. Great to play a single episode if you only have a couple of hours spare to play.
As usual though I will wait for the Batman game to go on sale, looks a good game though and looking forward to playing it.

One of the worst performing games this gen. Shocking resolution and framerate considering it's basically an interactive movie.

Telltales' games are pretty much an interactive DVD game you get to be part of.
