Yeah I've got one, works perfectly, battery life is incredible.

The battery life on mine has become terrible. Just sitting on the side it loses 30% in a day. Banggood have told me to turn off bluetooth on my phone as this is draining the battery, seriously!

Well, I ordered 2 of these 10 days ago and although I only collected them from the local sorting office today, they were in fact delivered on Saturday. So great delivery speed from the far east when opting for the express shipping.

However, despite downloading the 'MiFit' app to both phones and setting up a different 'MiFit' accounts for each band, I'm struggling to get the second one paired with a Samsung Galaxy S5.

The first one I tried did pair with my 'Samsung Galaxy Note 4' and immediately updated the firmware, but no matter what I tried, the second unit wouldn't connect to the 'SGS5'.

Anyone have any ideas?

I guess the only thing left to try if there isn't a simple answer, would be to unpair the 'Mi Band 2' that's currently connected to my 'SGN4' and try and pair the other 'Mi Band 2' to that handset to enable the band to get the firmware update.

Well, I managed to pairing the second unit it to the 'SGN4', which is on 'MM' and updated the 'Mi Band 2' firmware to version 1.0.0.33 as it did with the first unit I tried.

So now I'll have to try and pair the newly updated 'Mi Band 2' it to the 'SGS5' with the new firmware installed.

May be just an issue with my SGS5 (which is also MM), but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Nope, still didn't connect to the 'SGS5' and what's more, it won't connect to the 'SGN4' after un-pairing it.:disappointed:

Well another little update to say it eventually paired when I went to another room for some reason (maybe interference from summat).

Anyhow, when 'Mi Band 2' did decide to pair with the 'SGS5' it updated the firmware again to v1.0.0.39, but the 'Mi Band 2' paired with my 'SGN4' is still on v1.0.0.33. Weird!

The firmware is slightly newer on the 'SGS5' and has the extra feature 'Time Format', with day and date under the time.

Any way to force the newer firmware update to the 'SGN4'?

Just realised there was a recent update the 'Mi Fit' app, so when the latest version is installed onto your handset, the newest firmware is updated the next time the 'Mi Band 2' syncs with the 'Mi Fit' app.

On launching the newly updated 'Mi Fit' app, locate where is shows the old firmware version (in profile section) and tap the firmware version, which starts the firmware update.

Hope that helps at least one person.

is this waterproof for using whilst swimming also have they fixed the sleep analyser part because on my xiaomi mi 1s the sleep analyser only works once every couple of weeks if your lucky

Got mine today from banggood (ordered a couple of weeks ago for about £23). No import duty (marked as $11). I also purchased screen protectors as i read reviews that it scratches easy despite scratch resistant glass. Initial impressions are very positive.
- very comfortable to wear
- basic and easy to use - maybe too basic for some - especially the app, but good enough for a first step into fitness monitoring (see what I did there?)
- Screen is great and i like the wrist flick to see the time - seems to work well
- It took 30 mins to charge 30% (pretty quick considering I expect 30% to last me a week based on reviews)
- Step counter works but noticed it misses a few and sometimes adds too many steps on but it should give a good ballpark figure everyday
- Heart rate monitor has to be activated manually but mi heart rate (3rd party app) does show a live heart beat
- call notification could be very useful the amount of times i miss calls with my phone on silent
- overall feels like a good quality product

What makes this better than the first one or the 1s?

​I compared this to my polar 400 chest heart rate tracker and manual readings. The heart rate I consider just a gimmick as its far too inconsistent. 0ther than that its fine. The band will fit a child but the device may be too wide for wrist.

Are there any clips to mount this e.g. clipped to your boxers? Not mad about wrist wearables, but would like a step counter. You could with the 1st generation model

Just a warning. The heart rate monitor doesn't really go over 100 bpm so is not suitable for a lot of sports. It will work as a heart rate monitor with Endomondo and other apps if you buy a seperate app (Mi Band Tools).

Got one of these myself last week, very impressed with it, the only downside is the clip on the wristband sometimes unclips very easily and so it could fall off, has happened to me a few times now

I've bought two of these recently. They are fantastic and when compared to Fitbit etc it's a no brainer.
Equivalent Fitbit models are 4x the price of this.

My original MiBand stop working a few weeks back. I contemplated not getting a replacement, but the automatic sreen unlock was the feature I missed most, hence I now have a new MiBand 1S. The theoritical range on BT4 may well be 100m, but in reality, the range on the MiBand is 20m at most. I'm struggling to think of a time when my phone is less than 20 meters away from me and not in my possesion, therefore I don't see how your concern of security, or lack of, applies. Your situaltion I'm sure is different, but that in itself doesn't make the feature "pointless".

Whilst this feature is "cute", BT4 range maxes out at 100m, so in real terms you might as well not have the screen lock on at all. So basically, it's pointless...

I had no problems with my 1S either... I've just tried the 2 again and it failed, but a second time (after going into the Mi Fit app) and its appeared in the Trusted Devices list.

I had the Mi 1S and never had trouble, I don't understand if your phone can see your band it should just work

I can't get my MiBand2 to unlock my S7... its not recognised as a device, let alone a trusted one. Yet the Mi Fit app works fine.

Would these be too big for children? (10 years old).

its says unlock phone without a password, does it need to be a xaiomi phone or would it unlock my lg g5, would have liked a stopwatch on it as well.

Do these display message or buzz if you get a text (that's what I need for DD, she's always on silent and needs an alert if I call or text)

I'm pleased with mine. Battery used 35% in 9 days. using alarms but only connected with Bluetooth few times a day. Steps are pretty accurate. Beware the heart rate monitor isn't great.

I have to say, for an alarm it's great, vibrates my arm instead of annoying others in the house with sound.
