I think you've misunderstood...
The 2ms 'white to grey' response time is mostly marketing drivel, I wouldn't make it a priority over image quality when purchasing a monitor. The input lag on this screen is 10ms and at 60Hz it displays a new frame every 16ms. Plus you've got server pings (let's say 50ms) for anything online.
Although I do not know your reaction time, the average exceeds 200ms. And last but not least there is your overall skill level on the game which arguably makes the biggest difference.
It's pretty easy to see this is all adding up and that 2ms you started with is pretty irrelevant. What would be wrong with a 5ms or 10ms screen offering better image quality?

Add on frame rendering time and internet latency.... All this 2ms 'pro' gaming nonsense.
Get a nice panel and enjoy it unless it's a career (which is ridiculous, but good on you if you make money out of people wasting their time watching you play games).

To each their own, for me the ms is important due to gaming. It's like saying the same about footballers and people wasting their time watching them play a game, it might be 'ridiculous' to you but not all, just wish I could make a living this way, so much better than going to work lol

I see your one of "them" type of people, your going to keep arguing that you are right and I am going to argue that is down to people personal likes.
My friend is happy 27" and I am happy with a ultra wide.
there you go, peoples personal choices, so how about we leave this now as to be honest its kinda getting boring

The pixel density is far too low for a professional.

same as a 27" inch looking ugly and still functional

What a silly argument you're trying to make. Fords might look ugly but they are still functional. A professional graphics designer working on a 1080p 27" screen is not functional.

I have no idea why you are so intent on being right but he is using 1920x1080 on a 27" I personally could not comment as I do not sit there looking at his screen nor do I work on that res at that screen size, he is happy using it like that and I think that is all what matters.
I personally do not like fords because they look ugly but it does not change that fact that they fit a purpose.
now please feel free to go push your logic elsewhere

Have you seen his resolution? Dimensions are almost irrelevant when it comes to monitors, it's all about the resolution. And no professional would be using 1080p at 27".

what do you mean it wouldn't be using it, I have seen his office.

Personally I don't know and there are a lot of mixed reviews, so in the end I went with a ultra wide monitor but my friend does a lot of Photoshop on a 27" and says he has no problems.

Very good price. Currently 4k monitor is 3 times in price of this one.

He wouldn't be using Photoshop on a 27" 1080p monitor. 27" is far too big for 1080p. I have a 24" 1440p and it's perfect.

My 7 year old has this in his room. Uses it with his Xbox 360 and Wii U, got it because he wants a PC for Christmas which I'm slowly collecting parts for. In the time he can use it with his consoles, the built in speakers are pretty good.
I'd never recommend anyone get a 27" 1080p monitor for gaming, really need 1440p. For somebody looking for something for their children but also can act as a TV, it's great.

Everyone wants perfection, you'll never get it. ASUS are a good brand that I as a computer builder can confirm. It's less than £130 quid for 27". You get what you pay for.

The stated response times of ALL monitors and TVs are complete BULL! Regardless, a good price.

Wish it was, 4k. 1080p looks fuzzy on big monitor.

I have an Acer 27" monitor at 1080p and it looks pretty crisp.

I have a 27" LG at 1080 and doesn't look fuzzy at all. NIce and crisp here

No it doesn't. You can make out pixels at a closer distance than a higher resolution monitor, that much is obvious. But definition and clarity is all relative to how close you sit. You can sit further back from this than a 24" monitor and thanks to it's larger size still clearly make out text and details.
People have 40"+ TV's that are 'only' 1080p.

I'm after a 27" 1080 and checked a couple in pcworld yesterday and they looked fine with text etc, I think I'm going for the HP pavilion 27xw, look very smart

It will have an inherent response delay of about 16ms.
