This is the lowest price I have seen this kettle thus far and for this price, this kettle works extremely well. Had one before but then swtiched to Russell Hobbs for a change after years of using it. The Russell Hobbs kettle didn't last more than 4 months and now I am back with this one again.
Fill. Boil. Pour. Cuppa. With a 1.7 litre capacity, this Simple Value kettle is ideal for students or small families. The pullback lid function makes re-filling this 2.2 watt kettle very easy.
2.2 kW.
1.7 litre capacity.
Boil dry protection - automatically switches off when the kettle is empty.
Pull back lid.
EAN: 9016710.
You may receive a substitute of similar specification, but which is cosmetically different.

Have had this kettle for months now and works absolutely fine. I'd avoid the Wilko alternative though as that was rubbish.

And you also learn to boil only what you need, rather than people's habit of filling kettles unnecessarily, which usually explains the length of time they take to boil and is the equivalent of having the tap running while you brush your teeth.

If you have solar panels on the roof a lower-powered kettle is preferable, as it doesn't import electricity. Saving money is wonderful for one's patience!

Good price good deal if ur a patient person who has plenty time before a brew is ready when u really want it... Took literally 5 min+ to boil.. Took it straight back. I understand u cant expext much from a fiver for a kettle.. But i think i'll always spend £10+ for a rapid boil one with 3kw power instead of sth like 1.7kw slow timing wasting stuff

Too much caffeine can make one intolerant and impatient.

Had one of these for 3 years and only got rid of it as mum and dad got me a brand one for Christmas, they also didn't like the fact my kettle took years to boil! However, I'd buy again! Amazing price.

These are great kettles, have one at home, one at work, can't fault them for the money, so good I bought mum and mother-in-law one too (no expense spared)
