Is it not just a free update if you already have the game? I could be wrong but that's what I picked up previously on here.

I got this, the amiibos don't come in the usual card packaging so you don't have to rip anything open to use them. Also, Animal Crossing new leaf (an actual good game for 3ds) is being re-released next month to be compatible with amiibo, so there'll be 3 A.C. games for the amiibos.

Gone up to £11.95, still worth?

Can I 'enjoy' this game without having to spend loads on amiibo and cards etc?

yes, as long as you buy an amiiqo / n2elite

'enjoy' as you put it certainly is a stretch  but I really can't see it will make any difference what you have and don't have. You won't notice the game to be any less or more bad whatever you have/get/don't get.

Get it. Unlock "island escape" as soon as possible and just play that - it's fun

I was forced to play a whole load of rubbish games back in the late 80's and early 90's on my Commodore 64 as my parents would buy me a £1 or £2 game each time we went to the local market, but all of them are a billion times better than this pile of I-don't-know-what!! Seriously, me and my girlfriend tried to "play" this last Christmas (when I spent FORTY-FIVE POUNDS getting it on day ome), we both fell asleep from boredom.

I think this has been 9.99 in quite a few places over the last month or two. (Possibly even as low as a fiver but I could be misremembering)

It has been £9.99 for a long while now. Despite how many times it's £9.99 they don't seem to get rid of the excess stock of this terrible game.

was in a branch of Game in Huddersfield the other week where they were asking £40 for this (and £100 for a Steam controller)

cracking price, I'm not sure the game is supposed to be up to much though
