These are really useful mine will be kept in the car to protect interior with seats down.

I have also bought another for home and garden.

Great for dragging grass clippings etc

Maybe so but that's primarily because sellers of most items (there are statutory exceptions) have been legally forced to sell in metric despite the majority of the British public preferring the use of British measurements for most purposes:

Its OK, I have a waterproof liner and some basic underlay. This is just an extra layer against the sand base, overkill most likely but at this price I may as well!

I think the worse "con" is advertising litres rather than gallons at fuel pumps - as we all think MPG not MPL plus it looks more attractive to the Oil companies for them to sell at £1.10 a litre than £5.00 a gallon. I feel its wrong.

The reviews (93% 4 or 5 star) don't mention that it "rips easily" or they had "wasted their money" some say the material is thin but no mention of rips. I guess it depends on how you treat it.
Did you buy this exact item from amazon?

Yeah same item, bought it last month at the same price. Didn't mishandle it, not sure how it ripped but it's very thin and as a result has limited uses compared with a similar thicker and hardwearing tarp

As for reviews..... only 27 people have bothered to review it, i wouldn't rely on this too much - i didn't feel compelled to leave a review, it cost £3.50 and it ripped, didn't surprise me really

Had one of these covering something outside since march this year, threw it away last weekend as it had literally rotted away. As we have not had any really bad weather can only presume they do not like direct sunlight.
