I trust Gearbest much more than Aliexpress. Gearbest uses Yodel, whom has upped their game (in my patch any way) and never had problem with tax or custom charges etc. Heat added!!

Just click on that web site and select as much memory as you like, 64GB, 128GB. 256GB...and contribute to this thread with these models.

Do not reset Windows. I tried to reset it to setup my own user account and start from scratch. Could not boot into windows anymore. Tried USB hub to reinstall it then it turned out the USB could not recognise anything but the charger. Couldn't flash Windows onto it, ended up RMA it and that's not easy with any of the Chinese retailers. Royal mail refused to send the tablet back cause it had batteries in it. (I should have lied about the contents) found some cheap online currier and shipped it back. Delivery confirmed with the Spanish post (that's what the shipping company used) but gear best said they cannot find it. They were nice about it, they refunded the difference so at least I got some money back. Ended up ordering a cube iwork8 air, great piece of kit! I would rate cube a lot higher than teclast. Had a chuwi prior to these, it was great until it stopped working. I took it apart, tried to fix it but I suspect the processor died. So far my advice would be to go for cube. Cheap and cheerful, had it for a month now, so far so good. (didn't try to reset it, I'm not risking it although it does recognise the USB hub, mouse and keyboard.)

Hit and miss with gearbest long as everything works no issues, only if you have to return anything you will realise how rubbish they are

Sad but true. I've found Gearbest to be reliable but any guarantee is more or less worthless. Usually entails sending back to China at your own expense (not cheap) or a measly offer of a few quid credit to your Gearbest 'wallet'. Integration of the software with the hardware will almost certainly have a few bugs for which fixes may or may not become available. Don't expect android updates either. In return you get a surprisingly capable device at a bargain price. My personal maximum for Gearbest soend is around the £100 mark. Don't pay extra for express delivery as you'll almost certainly be clobbered for import duty. Patience is a virtue in this instance.

To be frank you need to be aware of the risks before you order. If you want good customer service, good returns and exchange policy you should look elsewhere. If you want something really cheap and willing to give up everything else in return, they are the way forward! I've ordered phones, cameras and tables from them, only the two tablets that went faulty. So on the big scale of things I think I'm still in the black with the 20 dollars credit I still have with gear best. It's a numbers game, sometimes you shoot yourself in the foot with it.

For that price, I think I'd get a phablet. So much more useful. There are some around that price. IMO, it's ridiculous to have Windows 10 on such a small tablet as well as android. Windows 10 is bad enough on a full sized pc!

I've got a similar spec'd tablet and Windows 10 is not nearly as slow on it as you might think. Bigger issues are simply the suitability of Windows 10 for tablets and touchscreens in general.

I've ordered 2 electronic items from gearbest.
1. My £65 in-car dash video camera stopped loop recording and would randomly turn off or freeze. (This was a higher end price point on their site so if they can't get this one right...)
2. A small action video camera to take on holiday, jumping in the pool/swimming in the sea use. This one only stored 5recorded videos so all of the whole holidays videos were overwritten by 5 quick videos on the last day.
I extensively checked and was able to repeat the faults- not human error. Terrible, untested software.
Neither fault was detected within 3 days, postage back was prohibitive. Gearbest customer service replied by email in one of those conversations that doesn't go anywhere. Twice bitten next time I'll spend a bit more for something that is guaranteed to last.

No. 2 there sounds like a fake memory card - those cheap ones from china often are labelled as 32/64/128GB but actually only have 1 or 2 GB capacity and they just overwrite the same 1 or 2gb space again and again. Have you tried a different card in it?

32gb system storage is bit of an Achilles heel. I've owned two 32gb windows 10 devices. I've only got 3 apps installed which combined take up 2gb yet I'm still low on space and large windows updates constantly fail because of it. I literally have to uninstall my apps so the update installs then reinstall my app again.

i have the pipo x8 that's 32gb dual boot, I have a USB set as usable memory, I would assume there is a way of doing the same with SD on win 10 tablet. it does windows updates no problem.

I got teclast x98air. Speakers are poor, you can't hear anything from it, if somebody speaks next to you. Protecting glass on the screen started coming out after 4 months. Teclast quality is not worth 65 quid.

i have a teclast x70r used as a sat nav in van, apart from me abusing it still perfect after 6 months
He expected it to last more than 4 months. In my eyes that's not asking for moons or sticks. I agree with him regarding the teclast build quality: its not xiaomi or cube. They at least have some QC.

He didn't say it didn't last he said the speakers aren't amazing, the screen needing a bit of glue can happen to tablets it's not the end of the world. Anyway the point is if you want better you HAVE to spend more, for the specs teclast gives you a lot for your money so there will be some trade offs obviously or they would be xiaomi money.

Windows operating system in general doesn't acknowledge other operating systems such as Linux or android. Its all me me me. That's why on any device with more than 1 operating system, if you reset the device, windows automatically assumes that it is the one & only operating system and wipes out any boot portions/info of the other software.

Haha, this is an official Samsung one from Amazon that used to store all of my photos/music/stuff on my phone- about 28GB worth until I got a 64GB so I could use this card in this situation. It's not fake, neither are the others. I fill all to capacity when I receive them- copy them back to pc and then test what's been copied back. Thanks for reply though.

I have a Chuwi Hi12 good build quality and marvellous screen but a few annoying bugs e.g. Win 10 cannot read microsd cards, poor wi fi reception, bluetooth crashes when streaming and so on. Also have a dual OS 9.7" Teclast X98 Plus. The X98 Plus has equal build quality and virtually no bugs and/or annoyances. Build quality is fine, no creaks, decent fit and finish. The Teclast is the better sorted device IMO.
FYI. In the experience of TechTablets, the excellent website dedicated to chinese tablets, they list Chinese tablet brands in terms of their build quality as follows:
Like everything else you get what you pay for and with companies like GearBest and fasttech you get a lot for your money as long as it doesn't go faulty. Consider the cost of this tablet and what you would pay for the equivalent here, that is if you could even get the equivalent. You could probably get two of these for the price you would have to pay for similiar here.
