Got this on my email from nus. I was looking for a now tv deal and this arrived just in time!! Seems to be a unique one time code so you will need to log in via the link to use it. Just got 6 months movies for 4.99 a month. The terms below say new subscribers but I'm a current NOWTV customer and I'm a student with NUS and can confirm it just worked. Will post a screen below.
PLEASE NOTE: You have to be a student and have a NUS card and NUS Login to use this deal. It's a unique one time code hence why I didn't post the code. Once used it then becomes invalid for others

btw this deal isn't that special - £4.99 a month is expensive

there's not much of a risk these days - Ebay will find in favour of the buyer in this situation - so will PayPal

just bought a 4 month pass for £16.99 on eBay, plenty of others on there, slightly cheaper by my calculations.

I would be cautious myself as they only email you the codes and they are never guaranteed to work you have to contact nowtv support to activate as they are the old movies passcodes not the sky cinema passes. Not saying it's worse than this deal as it is cheaper but personally I would be careful with people selling codes on eBay

I applied leaving my normal email address and leaving the empty field in "academic mail" section. Went to pay and they send me the confirmation mail, so I hope they won't pick up on this.

Is the pass restricted to using the box to get the full now TV movies? Or does it work fully with the PC app?

I can't be 100% certain but I'm sure you can watch on the nowtv app on you phone/computer without ever having purchased the tv box

That's not strictly true as some of the institutions on their accredited list are not universities and don't have academic emails. I got an NUS card using my Gmail address. Alternatively you can sign up to courses for as little as £8 which can make you eligible for an NUS card.

Great deal if you don't do code stacking. If you can't be bothered to sign up for an NUS card message me and I'll give you the code. First come first served of course!

Really! I've had an NUS card for over five years, and never had an academic email!

good deal if you don't stack up codes from buying boxes (which a lot of people seem to do) Getting this NUS card is pretty easy if those wanting to get the deal with the code. No scrutiny whats so ever in getting the NUS Cards (that also gives you free amazon student (prime) for 6months as well
Well, you can't get this student card if you are not student because they ask for your academic email and if you don't have one...you can't get card

Try going through cancellation first. I did and got movies for £3.99pm until January.
I've never paid full price either, I always use codes except for the £2.99 kids pass.

I cancelled mine the other day and got offered 4 months at £3.99 per month. Only ever used passes from buying the boxes (I have a loft full of them) or codes found on here - I've never been a 'paying' subscriber.

Me too. I did the cancel trick in the past plus Amazon tend to do deal of the day with half price boxes so I got a little collection of unused nowtv boxes.

You need an NUS card so you can log in via the NUS site to get a code. It's a unique code so that's the proof nowtv need
