Apologies if this has already been posted, didn't find when I searched.

Both Amazon Video and Google Play are offering a 50% discount on any one season. However, as per the picture attached, it also works for box sets. I already purchased GoT-S6 and Suits S6 at 50%.

Note the same applies to any series which has a complete collection. Can pick up complete series of the Wire in HD for £30, or Sopranos for about £40. Tempted by Avatar but it's only in SD!

Tempted by a lot of stuff. All the Star Trek seasons are £20 without the discount on Amazon Video. I know that they're on Netflix at the moment but it would be nice to have them permanently. Also Arrow and The Flash, X-Files...too much to choose from!

I did that as my previous seasons were on amazon/ GP . Shouldn't be necessary as I could have selected GoT on Google play. see picture

I'm interesting in The Walking Dead season 6. But wonder if it's going to become free as part of Amazon Prime soon any way?

The other option is to buy the Blu Ray for £30 then just resell.

Am sure Walking Dead S6 will eventually come on Prime, just not sure it will be soon. You could buy the Blue Ray and flog it on eBay after watching it, but you need to be able to sell it for atleast £15 (since you will be paying only $14.50 to buy with this offer). I personally think this is a hassle.

You could also subscribe to LoveFilm by post for a trial period or for a month paid subscription and rent it out.

Season 1-6 has just gone on now tv, you could take trial. As for prime i assumed it would go on after season 7 finishes. Or at least after it starts.

Cheers, the SD version is £40. From what I can see Amazon Don't do the complete show, just individual seasons.

Good deal for Game Of Thrones that too.

Before I saw the deal I picked up season one of Louis (Louis CK comedy) which I think was £7.99 after a reduction, so should be £4 with this deal.

Kodi streams drop out alot or just blocky as hell.If you're on fibre probably no issue but BT won't install ours for another year.Distance from London? 12 miles.SMH

I'm a fan of Suits so may also go for season 6, have 1-5 on Blu ray and like it that way. Onnce bought there isn't any risk is there of not being able to view when/if a streaming service loses the licence for that show is there?

You have the content you have paid for. It may go out of Prime so you may not watch for free. But what you buy is yours to keep

When you select a season, look for "More purchase options" under the price. This will list out the price for rent and buy for both SD and HD. Underneath at the very bottom should be another link for "Redeem a gift card or promotion code". That will give you the box to put in the code. Make sure the code is accepted. It may not show you while buying but will show up right in the receipt.

I had to cancel a order for dark matter season 1 then repurchase it at the 50% discount price (£4.49) the amazon video discount code is not very user friendly where you have to put code in what you are purchasing (a single episode or season) and whether the price has been discounted. The way these types of codes work in Google play seems to be a lot more user friendly (I bought this from amazon as dark matter season 1 is over twice the price on google play)
