Rather save up a little more and get one with a better refresh rate and HDR tbh. This is like the 'HD Ready' of the HD tvs (back when they had 720p TVs out as well as 1080p TVs)

I've read on here before that Vestel are the TV's to get as they are the best.
Is that true?

only 50hz, no HDR, probably 8 bit vestel panel but apart from that not bad
Still definitely worth paying extra £17 for the 49" hisense with HDR, 60hz, 10 bit panel
Only upside to this TV is it has 3D, but most people seem to hate it, must be quite an old model since most manufacturers have dropped 3D these days (my old TV had 3D, I thought it was pretty cool)

Doubt it's an HDR10 panel for the money. HDR 10 panels carry the ultra hd premium branding

I have a old £300 40" HD Toshiba (probably Vestel) and it's been fine for over 4 years now! Forever waiting for it to die so I can get a 4K/UHD replacement...

I have a 6 year old Toshiba 40RV753 (not Vestel?), I'll tempt fate & say it's good for another 5 years.
