Doesn't really matter where they're made, the key to the taste is the recipe and that's where the brands differ.

I'm not a label junkie but must say there is a huge variation in different brands of beans. Not a fan of Branston, though some say their the best, Heinz I find far too sweet, my favorite for years were Lidls but since they recently changed they are now dross. Aldis are not much better. Morrisons premium nice but I cant get them open without a struggle. Bean of choice at the moment is Sainsburys own brand.

most beans are made in the same factory just labelled differently. As is most tin food and supermarket labelled produce. Yeo yogurt make all supermarket yogurt. stop this brand crap and wake up.

yes, but, they are then slightly tweeked for flavour etc. Some a rank and not even worth the 20p.

Not all baked beans are created equal. +1 on the key to taste is the recipe.

Voted hot for the deal for ready made beans. Don't like what's on offer in the supermarkets? Make your own, so simple to do! :-)

i binged on loads of brands recently, my fav are were aldi premium £1 for 4 iirc. Ingredients are broadly the same across most brands, and any taste differences are subtle. However, Heinz seem to be the only ones using vinegar.

each to their own i guess, me i love the new Lidl's beans, not to sweet and great when you add them to, chopped up bacon, onions, chilli and some smoked paprika

We all have different tastes don't we, I prefer Branston beans over most others but only get them when they are on offer. I tried Aldi's 'premium' beans and found them too watery, as a one off I thought I'd try their cheaper value ones and preferred them!
Tesco's value beans and sausages have nice beans in but the value beans are different and not as nice.

Beanz Meanz Heinz - although I also prefer Sainsbury's own brand

i bought some they are decent. not watery and quite a thick sauce. they are definitely better than most own brand beans

Cracking price!
Unfortunately they didn't have any in the Evesham store today though. They had a 5 pack of Heinz or a 3 pack of Branston
Asked the manager if he could order some in for me, but unfortunately he was unable to, saying he was unable to find any Beston Baked Beans on the system.
Oh well, not to worry. Thanks for posting anyway.

Love Branstons, but at this price bit of butter and curry powder is going to spice these up nicely
