4GB 4G DATA, U/L Minutes, U/L Texts for only £9 a month
Quidco also tracks at £30 which means that if it pays out
= (9*12)-30
= £6.50 a month
Please note this is on the Three Essential Plan only so there's no Feel at Home or Tethering included.
Also Three have a Refer a Friend scheme which allows you and your friend to earn a £25 Amazon voucher EACH ! This deal could end up costing you £8 for the year if you choose to keep both vouchers for yourself
I like the guy who boasts about the unlimited data for £7 then runs.

To keep your number you'll have to port out to a pay and go sim with another provider then port back into your new 3 sim, I did it, takes a couple of days but it's the only way.

This isn't 2006... it may be bad for you but Three really is probably the best network out there for data, customer service and value right now. Have not been anywhere that Three didn't get a signal where Vodafone, O2 or EE did (that I can recall); and remember in remote places that it's more likely to be 2G signal which isn't hosted by them.

Feel at home is ****. Used it in France and Spain this year and it was unusable for doing anything that you want a smartphone to do. No streaming radio (5 live), No spotify, youtube (for kids). It seems to be geared at people sending hot dog leg photos to social media. I tried all the available networks that I could roam on.
It's a gimmick, I'd rather buy a local sim in future.

Quoting from the Three website under 'plan details';
On our Essential Plans, you can’t use your inclusive data allowance to create a personal hotspot (this is where you share your phone’s internet with other devices such as tablets and laptops). If you want to do this, you can buy an Add-Personal Hotspot Add-on when needed of 1GB, 3GB or 6GB.

This is a good deal if you like to jibber jabber a lot down the phone. I went for the £7 a month unlimited data - the downside is that it 'only' has 200 minutes so not so good for jibber jabberer's. It does have feel at home though which I think is extremely useful if you travel a lot. So if you jibber jabber incecessently and believe tales that dragons roam outside of your towns borders - this is for you.

BigVern1984 to Destard

Because they install carrier network settings over the air to your phone, you should get a notification when this happens. An option here is to block tethering. They can also detect what web browser type is requesting an the IP address.

Just use a VPN with a UK based server, sorts it. From experience, you need to switch the VPN off and on again occasionally, dont know if they recognise it after a bit, but on and off does the trick!

You can port any time to Three. Best advice I have for you is to get a free Virgin PAYG SIM, port out to that, and port back in from it. Don't know how you had that experience but each time I've used it in France and Austria, it's been amazing. It kind of annoys me that things we take for granted aren't available abroad without extra cost but having the internet transformed our holiday - from things like live train data, Google maps, posting photos when we finished our race, even Bittorrent! Oh, and as for speed I managed to download 710MB of Garmin maps I'd stupidly forgotten to download in the UK while driving down the peage in around 15 minutes - having had to call Three to get roaming activated before (and who were really polite and knowledgeable).
Normally I cannot stand offshore call centres (instant bad mood) but Three is like a beacon of hope where some day I hope all offshore centres will be like theirs.

3 Sep 16#118
Looking again it may still be worth querying - Essential with 1gb data had 600 mins and unlimited texts at the £9 per month price point. That is still listed. This could therefore be a price reduction on the Essentials 4gb/unlimited/unlimited? Many mobile deals track at a lower default amount then uplift once the tariff is confirmed.
For Quidco there is a basic membership that does not have the £5 fee.
If it is £30 then refer a friend (£25 Amazon each for buyer and referrer ... assuming you could have the referrers share ) would've better.

3 Sep 16#119
A family member referred me earlier in the week for the £25/£25 Amazon raf, while the £50 Amazon vouchers offer was still on (ended 1/9), so hopefully £108-£50-£50=£8 for the year for 200 mins/2gb data and unlimited texts :sunglasses:.

You are correct I was asking about this and this is what i was told
"your contract is subject to an annual Retail Price Index increase which takes effect from May 2017, the RPI is published in the February of that year."
"For example, if you pay £25 a month for your price plan and the RPI rate published in February is 2%, in May your plan price would increase by 50 pence, so you would pay £25.50 per month for the next year."
hope that helps

5 Sep 16#151
SIMO from 3 is not subject to annual RPI price rises. In general and excluding RPI (and VAT increase that would be beyound 3's control), 3 t&c state the customer will receive 30days notice of (any) price rise, and if the customer does not wish to accept the price rise they can terminate the contract at no penanty within that 30days notice period. That is a reasonably standard obligation on most telecomms providers.

I have contacted Tesco about moving, they couldn't match the deal yet buy asked me to hild in until the 6th as they have new deals coming out on this day.
Called EE today for my PAC code (which was texted to me immediately) after seeing this deal. Best they could offer me on the same call was 2GB, Unlimited Minutes and Unlimited Texts for £10. Is this a good deal? Haven't had a call yet from their retentions team.
The ability for native tethering and WiFi calling on EE is pretty decent :L

hmm, they didn't offer me that when I asked for a pac code for my sisters contract. I probably would've gone for it as I need to tether some times. I'm on T-mobile at the mo on a £10pm contract with 1gb data and 300mins which are enough for me but could do with a little more data. the only reason I am looking to stay with tmob is because I have 0845 numbers within my allowance

I am feeling slightly disappointed with this deal, not because of the service or product - but because I as an existing customer I was given this 'exclusive' retention deal when I tried to leave 2 weeks ago, before it was available to anyone.
Now I find there was not actually any exclusivity or preferential treatment toward existing customers.

To get this deal we need to be new customers? So if we start 2x new contracts, we will have to transfer our numbers from the old Pay as you go cards?
If we have to pick Quidco vs Amazon vouchers, I guess £50 in shared vouchers each contract is better than £30, but I wonder If I can do that twice?

Oh it says this
What to expect on your first bill.
Your first bill will be available for you to view in 7-10 days. About 19 days later we'll take this payment by Direct Debit, so please ensure you have sufficient cleared funds in your bank account at this time. The bills for your new agreement with Three must be paid on time; failing to do this may have a negative impact on your credit rating. You can keep track of your usage and bills by going to My3 on your mobile or at Three.co.uk/my3.
The first bill you'll receive from us will be higher than your usual monthly charge as we charge you for a month and up to 8 days. Find out more at Three.co.uk/bills.

Ended up renewing my contract with EE in the end. £9.99 for 2GB data (tethering allowed), Ultd. minutes and Ultd. texts. Next step up was 3GB for £15.99 and 8GB for £19.99. This was through the Upgrades/Retentions team.

4) Cleared browser cache and signed out of quidco
5) Logged into Quidco and used link to refer to Three
6) Used link on Three webpage and it reconised I was refered by a friend
7) Signed up for new account (Wife's details)
8 ) Received welcome email from Three for Wife's account
9) Received a refered a friend email from Three to my account

The QUIDCO listing states £50 cashback for " 12 month SIM contracts with 4GB or more data per month". As it appears buyers are getting only £30 cashback from QUIDCO I have contacted them. I have just spoken to a QUIDCO operative on the phone who has promised to check the matter with 3 Mobile. So anyone who thinks that there is a problem with their expected cashback should notify QUIDCO.

For refer a friend, you need someone to refer you - if that happens to be someone in your house then even better as you both get £25 Amazon (or you get both if it is family and with their agreement/help!). To register, all you/they need to do is give your nawe, email address and mobile number (you do not need to be a Three customer).

Its £50 for 4gb and above contracts, but this is a 1gb deal with "3gb free" so it doesnt count as a 4GB contract, cheeky i know but they just using a loophole.
COMARANTZ
10 Sep 16#228
I knew 3 were stating "4GB for the price of 1GB". But it is still 4GB. They are not actually stating "FREE". It is really just an alternative way of showing a price reduction for 4GB. QUIDCO, 3 Mobile and Trading Standards may have different views. Anyway it is a good offer @ £9 but obviously even better with the £30 cashback. The promo is supposed to run to 30-09-16, but the 3 Mobile callcentre say it is almost the only product customers are interested in at the moment and the offer might be withdrawn earlier !

As a long term customer, since the 3 Mobile launch in 2003, I have been unable to login to my account since Tuesday 13/09. The products and packages can be viewed on the site, but it is just the login option that is not functioning. I have phoned 3 who say they are aware of the problem, which is said to be due to the iPhone 7 launch. 3 say purchases can be made by phoning the sales callcentre, but that will obviously not give cashback from Quidco or TCB.

Bought this SIM for my mother.
I'm with EE on seperate contract (18months, 4gb data, ultd mins and texts. Paying £23 per month and got a free Note 4 with the contract).
Phoned EE to get PAC code to cancel my mothers old contract, and ended up being told I can add her as a second line to my contract and get better offers. After bit of haggling managed to agree on the second line for £8 extra per month (12 month contract) with unlimited minutes and texts, and 10gb shared data between myself and my mother.
Amazing deal, so now cancelling this 3 sim within the 14 day cooling off period!
Effectively got a deal of unltd mins, ultd texts and 6gb data for £8 per month direct from EE
faddy54
15 Sep 16#268
You may have missed a trick by only using a referral for the second contract, since you don't have to be a 3 customer to become a referrer. Just sign up at https://www.three.co.uk/refer-a-friend . Referer and referee of course need different email addresses.

16 Sep 162#270
You may see the answer in a previous message I listed. This offer is valid to 30-09-16. There are other 3 Mobile promos for 20GB and 30GB which are available to 03-11-16. In a previous phone call to the 3 callcentre the operative said that the package in the original contract offer would continue at the same rate unless ended by the subscriber. The operative also stated that this offer was in high demand and could possibly be withdrawn sooner. The Quidco cashback has passed it's original end date and has obviously been extended. Based on this info I would think anyone considering the offer would be best advised to take it before either Quidco or 3 short circuit the promo !

16 Sep 16#275
The person who referred can check their referral page and it shows the current status and they would also have received an email - "You're almost there." confirming successful referral. That would show it is logged on the system and give evidence if they don't send the voucher (problem is voucher is not due until 3 months after sign up if I recall correctly).

How to get the quidco and Amazon vouchers, both? Cant seem to understand what has been explained on comment 220
faddy54
18 Sep 161#291
1) Someone (*cough* needs to be someone with a different email address from yours) signs up here as a referrer. "They" give "you" the referral link they get from Three.
2) Clear browser cookies (or just three.co.uk cookies if you know how). Follow link from Quidco to Three, so Quidco "gets the cookie".
3) Paste the link you were given by the referrer into the address bar and press Enter. A message should come up with the name of your referrer.
4) Navigate to the SIM only offers and place your order
Note that while Quidco and Amazon vouchers have both apparently tracked for the author of comment #220, we don't know whether both or either will pay out.

you need to make new quidco account, then you go to 3 website via quidco and then you place your order and quidco should track your visit/order
you will not get quidco if you ring 3 direct, order via quidco

probably the most stressful process i have experienced in ages.
1) quidco did not track, raised a claim, no one knows, no one bothers to get in touch. I kept emailing, and spent a fiver to be upgraded to premium customer so i get LIVE chat, girl said would take 4 months to get an answer , so that is screwed if i kept the contract and don;t get the cash back.
2) three - even worse as no one has the ability to check if my order was a straight order or thru a refer a friend scheme. And will say get back to me in three days blah blah blah, and i think they will drag me on until i gone past the cooling off..
pain in the bum really cos it was wasted my weekend trying to save a few pennies to sort things out.. and it happened to be a complete waste of time
Thanks, I spoke to three earlier today about something else and asked about this, I was told all the Amazon vouchers were used and the offer had been withdrawn.

I am currently with EE - my 2-year contract has just expired. I would like to do this SIM only 3 deal through Quidco. If I ring up EE I will have to give 30 day's notice (my phone is also locked to them I think - got the deal through Mobiles.co.uk). I would like to keep my number - is it possible to phone up EE today and say I would like to switch over with them to a Pay As You Go SIM (to keep my number) - if I do that, will I still need to give 30 day's notice? Also, if I do the PAYG SIM, a few days after doing it, would I then be able to port my number over to the 3 deal (how much do EE charge to unlock your phone?).
I am also wondering, is it just possible to have my phone unlocked whilst I am in the 30 day's notice and insert the new 3 SIM only card and start using it during the 30 days - seeing that the 3 deal runs out on 30/9/16?

I've done this deal - £50 cashback with Quidco, however, I have received an email saying that it has tracked at £30. Will this increase later, or, should I raise a claim about it - and, perhaps, take a photo of the page where it says it is £50? Thank you.
Sophiasky
20 Sep 161#308
Mine has tracked as £30.08, not £50.00. However, it did say that to get the 4GB data, you had to pay by direct debit and for doing that they give you a £5.00 a month discount, so might query it I think.
Sophiasky
20 Sep 16#309
Just looked at a cashback claim, however, it says that 3 will not even look at my query/claim until 90 days have passed after the purchase date, so that means that they won't even consider it until at least 20th December. I think that I might now wait to see if the correct amount is updated later (it does say that they sometimes enter a smaller amount and adjust it).

I believe someone in this thread was told that because this is a 1GB tariff put up to 4GB for a limited time, it gets the £30 cashback offered for tariffs under 4GB. It would be interesting to see how anyone gets on by claiming on TCB then submitting a Highest Cashback Claim...

I have been involved and dealt with this query in previous messages. I contacted QUIDCO and in a following phone call I asked why only £30 was tracked and not the £50 as stated on the site. The operative said they would contact 3 and if the cashback was wrong it would be amended. I did not get any cashback update from QUIDCO. The reason for only £30 cashback is that it is considered to be only a 1GB package, with the "extra GB free". It is not, as I and other customers consider it to be, a price reduction on a 4GB package ! There is the separate situation of "£5 discount". It does not relate to or involve QUIDCO or TCB discounts ! This £5 discount is applied to all 3 contracts when paying by the 3 preferred payment method of D.D. So the listed price will only be for the D.D. price. If you pay for any 3 package by any method other than D.D. £5 will be added to the stated price ! As a reminder to those who have not seen my previous messages (including #270), this 3 promo is only valid to 30th. September. A 3 operative has told me in a phone call that due to heavy demand the offer could be withdrawn prior to that date. The original QUIDCO £30 cashback offer ended, but has been extended so it might not continue to the same date !

You can't port the numbers directly three to three, same with all networks won't let you port numbers internally, get a virgin sim (arguably the fastest to port in and out) and port out to virgin then back to three. Pain in the ass but only way to do it i think.

COMARANTZ
26 Sep 16#332
The promo timeframe was stated in #270. As regards to "activation", it is irrelevant when you start using the SIM. It is a contract that will be paid by Direct Debit and the initial payment date will be fixed by 3. Simply put, your contract starts when you receive the SIM, (3 may ask you to confirm receipt), you will then pay even if you don't use the SIM.

No true there is an App in the Google Play store. Works fine. BUT the App needs you to be in range of a cell tower to set up. Its a bit mad I had to 1) Install the app 2) Walk 2 miles to get a signal to register the app on my phone (One time setup) 3) Walk back to the hotel and use the Wifi. Was able to get / make calls and texts no problems. Not sure if it works outside the UK though.
For Wifi Calling and in home use (e.g. with an ATA and a normal phone) I would recommend VOIPSTUNT service low cost and reliable superb call quality.

27 Sep 16#339
Yes I've done this on Virgin (to get int roaming as I was new customer) Three and most telco will love to take your money.
frownbreaker
27 Sep 16#340
I think the biggest single cost for roaming was integrating the billing systems.
So the telcos just net off the difference in bandwidth at the wholesale level so its peanuts for them. So AYCE is cheap to implement and run as say ATT users here can use Three networks and visa versa. At the end of each carrier billing period they pay one amount to settle the difference in usage UK Vs US.

It gives undetectable USB or Bluetooth tethering not WIFI (which is still detectable) Bluetooth is ok for surfing but is speed limited because of Bluetooth limitations, but usb is full speed (I get 30 - 50 mbps ) thru my 4g phone...

You don't need to be a 3 customer to register and refer someone. For example, my wife who is not a 3 customer registered. She referred me. I used the link that she had sent me to order my sim.
Ok so I phoned three this afternoon option 4 then 4 again and 4 again I think. Complained that my refer a friend was not showing on my dashboard, first advisor kept going insisting I had to wait until my friend had paid 3 months bills which I knew anyway. Was put through to customer relations she logged my complaint and promised she would ensure I got my vouchers when due, she also credited my account with my next line rental payment and reduced my tariff. All in all a good experience once I got talking to customer relations

To ans all the question
1. the procedure's mentioned in post 220
2. vast majority of people get quidco tracked (30.08GBP)
3. NO ONE as far claims their refer a friend link's tracked, but there's possibility the tracking light will go green three months later.
4. you dont need to be a three customer to refer other people or simply make up a name to refer yourself, so you get both 25 pounds amazon voucher.

Like you, I followed the instructions and actually used two different Internet browsers to purchase the new contract with Three. I used my referral link and also went via Quidco. My cashback from Quidco has not tracked, so I waited a day or so and then put in a missing track and now it's just a waiting game.
If you log into your Three account (where you created your referral link: Refer A Friend), you should see one of your hearts lit up and that shows a link between your account and the new referral - my referral is in the pending stage as you need to wait three months.

Everything is turning to 5h!7 lately.
I had an issue with the original Three SIM referral not tracking.
I currently have an issue with a Three SIM not tracking.
I'm currently trying to sort out a problem with an EE PAYG Data SIM bought from Argos (6GB -12 x 500MB) which after hours on the phone with the half-wit Argos CS and EE CS with broken English, it seems to be that the SIM card cannot be activated with the tarrif for which I bought it for (gave me 2GB as a GOGW). Now got the hassle of going back to Argos (receipt long gone) to try and sort that out.
Also currently have a substantial cashback (well over £100) not tracking which tops it all.
Never really had any problems until lately (odd problem every couple of years), but recently, issues like this seem to becoming more common (for myself at least).
Well, I've ended up cancelling two of these in as many weeks under DSR because the referrals have not registered for me for sme reason.

I am having a nightmare with Three. Switched to them to get this deal. The coverage checker on their website said coverage was 'good' in my area. I thought it was a shame it wasn't 'very good' but never mind. Got the SIM, transferred my number over. Found I had no signal at all and Three in Touch app was next to useless. On live chat, Three then told me my area had 'limited' coverage. Different from what the website said!
Have had trouble cancelling under the 14 day cooling off period. Some of their staff said that didn't apply to me as I'm sim only, some said I would need to pay for one month before I would cancel.
The only way I've been able to cancel without paying is to agree to deactivate my sim which will take 3 days, then I'll have to wait another 2-3 to get my PAC code. So that's a week without a phone.
Awful customer service from Three.

I followed the instructions in this thread. I got my referral link as I'm already a 3 customer. I then used a different Internet browser to go through Quidco and used their cashback link. When I was taken to the 3 website, I pasted in my referral link into the address bar and then bought the £9 a month deal. Within 24 hours my referral was confirmed and I have one lit up in my referral page.

My existing contract with Three ends in just over a week. Got myself the Ultd/Ultd/4Gb deal on an advanced plan earlier for £10/mo, plus used the self-referral trick to get £50 in vouchers too. Effectively £70 for the year, bargain!

Ask giffgaff for the PAC code, they have to give it to you. Lasts 30 days
Buy the three sim, when it arrives, go on three chat and get them to port your giffgaff number to the three sim. Takes 1 working day

We received our £25 Amazon vouchers last week for referrals at the start of September (so 2 months to payout). We haven't received the £50 vouchers from the SIM offer yet. If only I had known/thought about the cashback trick too.

If the above has worked, you will see a pink/red 'refer a friend' heart that shows I have one registered referral.
I couldn't access this page from my account this time. I had to go to the generic refer a friend page (www.three.co.uk/refer-a-friend) and enter my details again. I was informed that I'd already registered and there was an option to re-send the activation link. When them e-mail came through, I clicked on it and was presented with the page with the above image grabbed - I've removed personal details and referral links.

Tempted for a 2nd line, I currently have a PAYG on 3 I never use anymore but I have switched on , and a contact one on this very tariff that I use to make calls but it would be good to have the 2nd as backup such as when the battery is low on main or I need to tether (yes its not meant to be allowed but works on mine maybe as a Chinese phone)

So this thread has been up for a while now, and the deal is available again, so can we have a quick show of hands for:
1) who managed to get their refer-a-friend to go through successfully and got their £25 voucher?
2) who managed to get their £25 voucher(s) AND ALSO the £30 Quidco paid out?
meeeeee
15 Mar 17#464
I got the Amazon vouchers (2 X £25) and, after putting in a claim with Quidco, I got my £50 cashback from the offer.
Opening post
4GB 4G DATA, U/L Minutes, U/L Texts for only £9 a month
Quidco also tracks at £30 which means that if it pays out
= (9*12)-30
= £6.50 a month
Please note this is on the Three Essential Plan only so there's no Feel at Home or Tethering included.
Also Three have a Refer a Friend scheme which allows you and your friend to earn a £25 Amazon voucher EACH ! This deal could end up costing you £8 for the year if you choose to keep both vouchers for yourself

It's a pity that their signal is next to useless - even in minor towns.
It's a gimmick, I'd rather buy a local sim in future.
Is there any way tethering can be added for a small fee?
On our Essential Plans, you can’t use your inclusive data allowance to create a personal hotspot (this is where you share your phone’s internet with other devices such as tablets and laptops). If you want to do this, you can buy an Add-Personal Hotspot Add-on when needed of 1GB, 3GB or 6GB.
All you need is this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hutchison3g.threeintouch&hl=en_GB or the iOS version.
kind of enough of such deals.
((12x23)-50-106) / 12 = £10 p/m
Deal is here
Normally I cannot stand offshore call centres (instant bad mood) but Three is like a beacon of hope where some day I hope all offshore centres will be like theirs.
that was 2 months back where I still can use it as mobile hotspot and feel like home.
Thanks
All wifi calls and texts are through the InTouch app.
I am sure this has been asked and answered many times, just can't find it when I need to look at it....
For Quidco there is a basic membership that does not have the £5 fee.
If it is £30 then refer a friend (£25 Amazon each for buyer and referrer ... assuming you could have the referrers share ) would've better.

"Any RPI-related price increase only applies to the monthly recurring contract charge payable for your package if you're on our new pay monthly terms and conditions, and won't apply to Add-ons. It also won't apply if you're on a SIM-only plan"
yep ;-)
The ability for native tethering and WiFi calling on EE is pretty decent :L
Now I find there was not actually any exclusivity or preferential treatment toward existing customers.
Currently got 900min,600txt,unltd data tethering & free t-mobile calls on 3G though all for £9 with tmobile , who will give me unlimited calls texts & 2Gb data on 4G for £10 - dont really use the data though but its handy
so what do people think, is it worth moving to Three (3) or sticking with current tmobile plan or the new tmobile offer? Which is best?
Currently I've got 900min,600txt,unlimited data tethering & free t-mobile to t-mobile calls (on 3G not 4G though ) all for £9 with t-mobile, called retentions who say they will give me unlimited calls texts & 2Gb data (on 4G) for £10 - been with them a very very long time
So what do people think is my best option, this 3 SIM deal, my current tmob deal or upgrade
t-mobile deal ? which would you go for ? best value ?
Me and my GF are both on Three 3-2-1 Pay as you go...

I feel with the quidco and the 4G data it was worth it. Don't even use 1gb of 3g but maybe now that am on 4G I may use more.
I believe 3 do good retention deals and can totally see them offering you the data amount for staying on. I think someone above mentioned that they were offered it already. good for 12 months any how
voicemail is Free ??
I know retentions deals are user specific but I just wanted to put it out there what I got so others know what is possible.
Should mention I'm new to Quidco.. never used it until now.
just placed my order...
£108 (£9x12) - £30.08 (quidco) - £25 (amazon) = £52.92

7) Signed up for new account (Wife's details)
8 ) Received welcome email from Three for Wife's account
9) Received a refered a friend email from Three to my account
Hope that helps
So if I only want one account I will only be able to do the quidco thing.
edit, also for two accounts i would need two quidco accounts?
Yeah, my mistake I was getting mixed up between Threes 4G voice, however the intouch app still isnt true Wifi calling.
Pitty as it was the perfect deal for my niece.
Thanks in advance
Also, as I want to keep my current 3 PAYG number, can it easily be ported onto this new contracted sim? What is the easiest way to do this.
Thanks again
I rang Three to query this and they didn't even have any note of me on the system. I tried to apply again, but their system was down (so I'm guessing it completed screwed up and then lost my 'application'). When they were finally back online properly I applied again and it's approved and am now awaiting the sim.
Great deal, voted hot!
It's win-win! Have some heat!
1) Logged into Quidco and used link to refer me to Three.
How to use Three refer a friend link on Quidco website.
More details will be helpful.
Thanks.
Also anyone had their Quidco cashback tracked yet?
Has anyone successfully claimed on Refer a Friend *and* had cashback pay out?
Looking for around 1000 mins the usual u/l txts and 4 -5 gig of data?
Thanks for your help
Curses...
Note that while Quidco and Amazon vouchers have both apparently tracked for the author of comment #220, we don't know whether both or either will pay out.
you will not get quidco if you ring 3 direct, order via quidco
1) quidco did not track, raised a claim, no one knows, no one bothers to get in touch. I kept emailing, and spent a fiver to be upgraded to premium customer so i get LIVE chat, girl said would take 4 months to get an answer , so that is screwed if i kept the contract and don;t get the cash back.
2) three - even worse as no one has the ability to check if my order was a straight order or thru a refer a friend scheme. And will say get back to me in three days blah blah blah, and i think they will drag me on until i gone past the cooling off..
pain in the bum really cos it was wasted my weekend trying to save a few pennies to sort things out.. and it happened to be a complete waste of time
http://www.three.co.uk/Store/SIM/Plans_for_phones#?contract=All&data=4&minutes=&type=alltype
I am also wondering, is it just possible to have my phone unlocked whilst I am in the 30 day's notice and insert the new 3 SIM only card and start using it during the 30 days - seeing that the 3 deal runs out on 30/9/16?
My 15 year old brother is already with three and wants to keep his current phone number, How can this be done?
His current contract has just run out so is free to move onto a new deal.
I also want to get the quidco cashback too.
Quidco tracking already and followed the steps above.
Ta.
Also can you "refer" yourself to this deal when signing up and then refer someone else?
Ordered this morning. Checked junk folder. Nothing there.
Those that have had an email informing them of the vouchers How long did the it take for the email to be sent?
Thanks
Does anybody knows when this deal expires?
Thank you for your help! I think Ill go for this deal then.Shame that my contract ends after a month :disappointed:
Are the small hearts supposed to light up with each referral?
Has anybody had the small hearts light up yet?

For Wifi Calling and in home use (e.g. with an ATA and a normal phone) I would recommend VOIPSTUNT service low cost and reliable superb call quality.
So the telcos just net off the difference in bandwidth at the wholesale level so its peanuts for them. So AYCE is cheap to implement and run as say ATT users here can use Three networks and visa versa. At the end of each carrier billing period they pay one amount to settle the difference in usage UK Vs US.
I use PdaNet https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pdanet&hl=en_GB unlock it with Foxfi http://www.alltechshare.com/pdanet-full-version-free/ which gives undetectable tethering for most phones....
It gives undetectable USB or Bluetooth tethering not WIFI (which is still detectable) Bluetooth is ok for surfing but is speed limited because of Bluetooth limitations, but usb is full speed (I get 30 - 50 mbps ) thru my 4g phone...
And in reference to wifi calling above , Whatsapp lets you do this , but is limited (IIRC) to recipients who have whatsapp....
I'll end up taking both vouchers

Is it disabled from the settings?
Thanks in advance.
1. the procedure's mentioned in post 220
2. vast majority of people get quidco tracked (30.08GBP)
3. NO ONE as far claims their refer a friend link's tracked, but there's possibility the tracking light will go green three months later.
4. you dont need to be a three customer to refer other people or simply make up a name to refer yourself, so you get both 25 pounds amazon voucher.
5. the offer will not end on 1st of oct, so you can take your time and compare.
When does deal ends now? End of October?

thanks in advance!
If I click the "Get Deal" link, it just takes me to the three.co.uk website, it doesn't take me to the specific SIM.
If I click SIMs and phone SIMs the lowest one has 2GB and is £10 a month. I can't see this deal anywhere... expired?
I took out this £108 deal - £30 quidco cashback and a home signal box for free (which they claim has a value of £75).
Have some heat!
You do need to make a bit of a fuss on the live chat, get them to call you and be put through to customer relations in the UK. As I was a new customer I threatened to cancel my contract as I genuinely couldn't get a signal at home.
I must remember to think these things through in future. Still, a pretty good deal...
Anyone know how long it actually takes for Three cashback to register on Quidco and when do the little hearts light up to signify a successful referral?
Mine are still greyed out.
If you log into your Three account (where you created your referral link: Refer A Friend), you should see one of your hearts lit up and that shows a link between your account and the new referral - my referral is in the pending stage as you need to wait three months.
I also used two different browsers.
Does anyone know if there is a claims procedure for those whose referral hasn't tracked?
Phoned the main Three CS and it was like talking to a piece of wood. He didn't have clue about the referral situation and I ended up just cancelling the contract.
Took out another (this one) and followed everything by the letter and this is what happens........again.
Somethings crooked!
Never really had any problems until lately (odd problem every couple of years), but recently, issues like this seem to becoming more common (for myself at least).
http://www.three.co.uk/Store/SIM/SIM-size-select?step=confirmplan&planid=1400628891038&
Those other apps are irrelevant to this conversation.
Shed some light please!
Awful customer service from Three.
do you remember your process of ordering? i tried and been months still nothing!
Or do you think giffgaff would match this offer?
Buy the three sim, when it arrives, go on three chat and get them to port your giffgaff number to the three sim. Takes 1 working day
