@Catewill they normally dont allow to reserve the day before the event as they told me you always pay at the reserve price. I tried it once before and they would not honour it so i wouldnt take the chance.

they normally do one around the begininig of nov and on black friday too. they did last year any way.

Typical offer will be finished before force Friday and new lego dimensions release date!

But you won't get the discount if you pay the day before the deal starts, you could return and ask to buy again but they use to have to put things back onto the system first which takes them a while... I don't know if this has changed in recent years.

I've always been given the reserved price. Never paid more if the price changed. I always take a screen shot too

Ok surprised no-one has mentioned these points yet:

1) this is the SECOND time it's been in this round - was on a few weeks back

2) fundamentally different to all other times - a few weeks ago all the posters explicitly stated that it was ONLY on toys listed on a specific range pages in the Autumn/Winter 2016 catalogue

Point 2 made a huge difference as in previous years I've picked up "old" big Lego sets that were still plentiful in stock but not listed in the newest catalogue. But this time (if it's the same as a few weeks back) then only current catalogue stuff was included.

This means that although the included Lego is effectively 33% off it's not a great saving (usually if patient sets are discounted to this) compared to previous years where say they had £80 "old" sets reduced to £55 and in the 3 for 2.

Hopefully I'm wrong but certainly a few weeks ago when it was on it was a more limited selection of toys than before.

Yes when you go in tomorrow to pay it will automatically put it through on 3 for 2. Your reservation will give you the full price. As I said if you are buying more than three things then make sure you pay for each lot of 3 individually.

Typical Argos, they put up prices at midnight before the 3 for 2 kicks off. I had few products in mind that I planned to purchase, this morning they are more expensive by 5-10 quid each.

Think with the Lego is Argos put those large stickers with their own product ID ref number on them, and if you try to remove them, they rip half the box away. + It is Argos and they are often selling thin air with their offers anyway and don't have the stock to start with, or minimal stock on occasion.

Agree, good advice. Usually better to go with Amazon even without an additional flubit discount, as you get delivery, arrives in better condition and you don't have to buy 3 of something, or try and find 3 things. Oh and they also have stock of what they are selling, unlike Shargos.

The £5 voucher is on Lego Sets over £20 which is not Lego Calendars, already tried. OR, i think there is also an offer on thats a £5 voucher for over £30 on ALL Lego. Hope my info is correct.

Correct. The price it comes up at on the till is the price it is currently sold at. If you reserved it at a lower price, just mention it and they will check and then sell you it. However, you don't have to "argue" that you sold it at that price, the colleagues aren't stingy, just tell them and they will sort it.

Ordered and received 3 large lego sets on the 3 for 2 just delivered,boxes in shocking condition so were the three I received yesterday,not surprising when they were sent in plastic bags.
These were obviously returns sold as new and then thrown into plastic bags and sent to mugs like me,never again.

Well... it came back on Wednesday 9th November in 2012,Wednesday 6th November in 2013,Wednesday 5th November in 2014 & Wednesday 6th November in 2015. All these Wednesdays were in the 45th week of the year.... so an educated guess would say it's likely to be back on Wednesday 9th November this year.
