Use your imagination, you may well decide to buy one controller and £22.01 pounds worth of shopping, which would cost £42 with the code! :-) (Thanks to KiNG)

or if you want one ps4 controller £38, get some food to make it to £60, take of the £18 voucher = £42
so you get £22 worth of food for 4 quid.

Yes you can. Just get any of the freebies and make up the difference up to £60 with any other shopping you want/need. You should pay around £38 for the controller and £22 worth of shopping, including the freebies. I did that yesterday.
Another tip is to only allow for substitutions on the freebies as they will still apply the discount if they give you a replacement. Also, if they don't have something you ordered in stock you should still get the full discount. At least that was my previous experience.

I have done some groceory orders as new customer and they found out and cancelled my order. They rung me and said they gonna delete all my account and keep one live. I told them, no offer for the regular customer and every shopping is a NEW experience. If i do it again, they are going to ban me from online order. Has anyone face the same problem? What is the possibility to track me, if i order as a new customer. What about if i change the store? Any ideas

After a look around there's a few local games. For the younger audiences Little Big Planet 3 and seems a bargain at £15 (http://www.365games.co.uk/).
Good idea. Controllers only last a few weeks and if friends come round they'll leave their controllers at home giggling at the fact you basically bought an extra controller when you didn't need it.

2 Oct 16#92
Likewise... went to pick up the stock and was also told that the order had been cancelled. There was no email or any heads up. Called head office and explained it to them... they were kind enough to issue me a £18 gift card to compensate for the EVOUCHER used, as well as an additional £10 gift card for the hassle. So should be receiving a £28 GC in the post which isn't too bad I guess! But still a pain.

Similar story to others on here. Scheduled for delivery last night; no call, text or e-mail to say they weren't coming, they just didn't bother to show up. I e-mailed customer care today who replied to say that the store had no stock and apologised because nobody from there contacted me. Sent me another £18 voucher which I can use in the future. The problem I see with this, is that for as long as I am unable to see stock levels before I order, I will have to go through this process over and over until the stock is there. It seems a crazy way to operate.

Just picked order up from Sainsbury's store, was only the one V2 controller instead of two but it did have the £18 discount applied so got it for £19.99. This actually worked out better for me since I only REALLY needed one extra controller and if I do decide on another could get from Amazon which would work out cheaper than the original £57.98.
Also I was speaking to the Sainsbury's delivery driver and he acknwoledged the fact the ordering system still allows you to place orders on OOS items for whatever reason and doesn't even notify you that it's OOS. I don't know why any business would operate like that especially a massive one like Sainsbury's, it's ridiculous

Rejected at the door. He said it will get refunded back to my card. I'll have to keep an eye on my card for that one. I'm going to email customer support too to see what they say. See if I can get another £18 off and reorder at a later date.

I know this sounds a little underhanded, but someone earlier stated accepting and then returning to store and getting a full price refund, wonder if that is plausible or even moral.

Just got home and they have delivered 2x V1 Blue DS4's. On the phone now with customer services to see what the crack is, they are checking local superstore for stock of the V2.

These are the new V2 controllers, the other deal being £34.99 each from amazon here:

Use your imagination, you may well decide to buy one controller and £22.01 pounds worth of shopping, which would cost £42 with the code! :-) (Thanks to KiNG)

Now just waiting for a great deal on a ps4.....
That would further sweeten the deal!
Another tip is to only allow for substitutions on the freebies as they will still apply the discount if they give you a replacement. Also, if they don't have something you ordered in stock you should still get the full discount. At least that was my previous experience.
Now I just need a PS4. I have a Pro on pre-order.
Can anyone recommend any local multiplayer games? I have two boys and now three controllers so need some local multiplayer games to play with.

Ill have one coming with my Pro anyway but this covers me for spares
One Blue V1 + Black V2 Ordered.. I have no PS4 yet lol :disappointed:
Heat added.
You watch the price of the V1 controllers drop below £25 before November.
COLD!?! No idea how this has gone hot...
You actually shouldn't get 2 controllers, as you're just paying full price for the second one. Just make up the difference with any offers or things that you need that are good value, as well as the freebies.
Don't they have a stock allocation system? I'm surprised they let orders go through because they don't know what inventory they have...
That was my first time as a Sainsburys customer. Last too.
is there must difference ?
They told me the order had been cancelled due to no stock and had the cheek to say they were doing me a big favour by refunding me my money. They also said that they will give me an e-voucher for £18...wait for it....my 2nd order....Umm, hello mr sainsburys??? This is my f##king first order!!!
I highly recommend that people avoid this company like the plague...what a load of crap!
There is an opportunity somewhere in this
I only ordered 1 controller by the way.
Just collected my order...
Ordered 2 controllers and a couple of the discounted bits and "freebies" suggested here.
Partial success as I only received 1 V2 controller but discount was applied making it effectively £20!
Total spend - £21.10 - if I buy second controller from Amazon for £35 then total spend is actually lower than original deal. Might try a cheeky moaning email to customer service and see what happens.
Thanks OP
Also I was speaking to the Sainsbury's delivery driver and he acknwoledged the fact the ordering system still allows you to place orders on OOS items for whatever reason and doesn't even notify you that it's OOS. I don't know why any business would operate like that especially a massive one like Sainsbury's, it's ridiculous
So I did email customer service and had a slight moan about not having received 2 controllers. Someone wrote back and gave me another £18 voucher code - result! Will wait a while till they have stock then buy second controller.
Off to post my two new V1s from Argos Fifa deal which I have managed to sell on ebay for £63.
Worth a go I think..hope it is of benefit to someone.
Think I'll take my business somewhere else now. :disappointed:
next morning i phoned online customer service, who apologised then called up a nearby large store who ARE NOT a click and collect store and I described the white on top of packaging.
they asked the store to hold 2 at customer service desk and also to provide an £18 gift card to make up for online discount.
thumbs up for customer service
*gonna return one again to receive £37.99 back
If someone posts a deal where you can purchase a flight to Florida for 10p, would you vote cold because you're scared of flying?
Hey, someone's just posted a deal for the new BMW; it's only £1000...
