Informed that order had been cancelled when I arrived to pick it up. Absolute joke. How can these big companies not have a stock system which can tell them not to take orders!

Likewise... went to pick up the stock and was also told that the order had been cancelled. There was no email or any heads up. Called head office and explained it to them... they were kind enough to issue me a £18 gift card to compensate for the EVOUCHER used, as well as an additional £10 gift card for the hassle. So should be receiving a £28 GC in the post which isn't too bad I guess! But still a pain.

Ordered 1 black v2 and 1 red v1 Saturday evening to be picked up Sunday afternoon, made sure that I unchecked substitutes for the items. Went to pick up via click and collect earlier today, the v2 controller was unavailable which I wasn't notified about beforehand, but the v1 red was available. However the discount still applied so got 1 pad for £19.99. Seems as though all the V2's are out of stock.

Cancelled my order without notifying me, then tried to lie and say they did try to call. After getting cut off by head office from an employee who didn't want to deal with a difficult situation, had to call and wait again! They said they'd let me use the voucher again? No point when the first time I tried, I had such a poor experience. What an awful way to do business.

My delivery slot last night did not turn up, I think they may have cancelled my order aswell. They didnt even bother sending me an email or a text. Held for 25 mins on their helpline last night before they shut at 11pm aswell

Phone call from Sainsbury's answered by family so I do not know if they have provided a further eVoucher. Agree corporate with established delivery service without stock control is ridiculous!! Similar story to others on here. Scheduled for delivery last night; no call, text or e-mail to say they weren't coming, they just didn't bother to show up. I e-mailed customer care today who replied to say that the store had no stock and apologised because nobody from there contacted me. Sent me another £18 voucher which I can use in the future. The problem I see with this, is that for as long as I am unable to see stock levels before I order, I will have to go through this process over and over until the stock is there. It seems a crazy way to operate.

Didn't receive mine either however received £25 worth of food for £7 as they still applied the code.

ordered 2 x V2 controllers, only got 1, tried to fob me off with a "Standard" DS4 as a "substitute". Sent that one back for full refund (£37.99) but I still got the New Customer discount to of £18, therefore making good the on I kept £20. WINNING!!!

Canceled mine as well, Was chatting with customers service, said that tried to call me, and gave back a e voucher. Crap.

Got to go collect order in an hour so called them up first, I ordered 2 controllers but they've told me they only have one for me.

Yeah, it's white on the back of the V2 box as well, there's also an unboxing video of the new V2 controller on Youtube if you wanna see it better.

Just picked order up from Sainsbury's store, was only the one V2 controller instead of two but it did have the £18 discount applied so got it for £19.99. This actually worked out better for me since I only REALLY needed one extra controller and if I do decide on another could get from Amazon which would work out cheaper than the original £57.98.

Also I was speaking to the Sainsbury's delivery driver and he acknwoledged the fact the ordering system still allows you to place orders on OOS items for whatever reason and doesn't even notify you that it's OOS. I don't know why any business would operate like that especially a massive one like Sainsbury's, it's ridiculous
