Found this bench grinder for under a tenner. Stated 2 year guarantee. I'm not much of a tool enthusiast but this seems like a deal.

Can't get link to work but if you search it on Homebase website it should find it.

I have the guild large grinder that I got from homebase and it is very good quality and guaranteed for 2 years.

Not sure if 150w would be powerful enough. You might find it grinds to a halt.

depends how hard you press

Probably powerful enough to sharpen your wit though.

Yes I bought one a few days back and it requires very little pressure to come to a halt, however for under £10 it does the job or sharpening tools.

Bought one of these, it is pretty useless, not powerful enough and slows down when you put anything against the grinding wheel, also safety guards are rubbish, one has broken already. It was under £10 though.

Regardless of the price, if its falling to pieces and doesn't do the job, I'd take it back.
Goods should be 'fit for purpose' .

Rather pay 34 quid on screwfix for the 400w version.. Or keep a eye on lidl/aldi for deals
