It will also work perfectly fine with my "old" Xbox One. These threads seem to be littered with people posting veiled brag posts about their soon arriving One S. You do realise that it offers little gaming benefit over a normal One don't you? 4K video, but not gaming, you're basically buying a decent high def blue ray, plus you're getting an internal PSU which in my opinion is only ever going to be bad news in terms of system heat. The PSPro is an upgrade, the OneS is just a facelift :smiley:

You do not require Xbox Live Gold to access EA Access. All apps are valid and accessible without Gold and has been for a long while now. Thank for the upload as mine has run out. Can't fault CD Keys

Disposable income and a sucker for newer shinny things means im doomed for life anyway... Works out like £40 upgrade after selling 'old' Xbox one when you consider was buying bundled games.

Everyone use case is different mind you! I would probably only upgrade to Pro aswell if it was like £50 after trade in net cost to me.

So did I, then the price boomed just after and has not really dropped since until now.... I hope that you're right, I just doubt it will happen. The thing is, at £50 I think Gold is worth it, I've had some pretty decent games from the service every year since they started it, I was going to buy The Run and my son wanted WWWK16 so that effectively paid for my subs :smiley:

I'd say yes, you're missing something. Firstly, as far as I'm aware, you will still need an active gold subscription to play any of the EA Access games online, that's reason enough for most. Secondly, you'll get 2 360 Backwards compatible and 2 Xbox One games each month which are yours to keep, but only with a gold account (360 let you use them unconditionally). The new games will be out on the 1st Oct, I think one is The Escapists, they are rarely so naff that you wont play at least one of them, its a decent perk.

I can't get it to work. Iv logged on out the items in the basket and typed code in saying not valid. Where do I find the code if it resets every half hour?
