Will this allow me to play Minesweeper (Win 95)?

Is this the first card that is at RRP? (odd that it is something amazing when an item drops to its RRP never mind starting well below like everything else)

My Zotac 670 is still going strong - good brand, have used them for my past two video cards and never had a problem. This is a great deal bearing in mind the AMD cost in relation to performance of the 480x compared to this. Plus, the dollar/£ conversion is making it more expensive for us to get a hold of cards but this is a fair price.

Does anyone know how this model does cooling-wise? I know the EVGA SC single fan edition has got some good reviews but that has a copper heatpipe (non SC edition doesn't though).

How do these fan + heatsink only cards fare? Are we talking a consistent 2Ghz boost clock just like the other cards?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I didn't mean the reference models, they are everywhere. I actually meant the AIB ones that are on preorder. (apparently until the end of August) They know how this suppy-demand game works and they play it very well.

Oh, and yes, I ordered the Asus 1060 from Amazon with student discount, not from ebuyer cause A, they dont have that model. B, It would have been more expensive. C, I love waiting for preorders. (That was a lie.)

Is Zotac a decent brand?

Usually go for MSI.

LOL i have had better coolers on 10+ year old cards that are sitting in my draw compared to those reference cards,plus AMD's stocking is even worse the Nvidia and it had a head start to boot.
I have been using AMD cards for over 15y and this is the first time i have decided to buy a nvidia card (gtx1070)This time next week i will be retiring my trusty 2y old MSI Gaming R9 280 which i bought off amazon for £150 and selling it for £100 so all in it was a good deal.

The mini is seriously tempting to improve the air flow in my case. Doesn't look that hard to put a watercooling block on either (future aspirations)

I still didn't regret ordering the Amazon Asus 1060 one. Same price with student discount and dual fans.
However I'm 100% that it barely makes any difference maybe if you overclocked it. Plus you will playing using this card for weeks before I even get my amazon order. And the RX480s are nowhere to be found.

Zotac are pretty great. They have some of the fastest clocks with the longest warranties despite lower priced and have gained a good rep over the years.

I had two of their AMP 8800 cards for several years and they were very fast and very cool.
