From Yamaha's website:
Yamaha’s NX-B150 is an interior-oriented Bluetooth®-enabled wireless sound system that not only adds style to the room, it sounds great. The unique design of the speakers will bring new depth to your everyday listening experience, taking you to the next level of sound quality. Make your days even brighter with the NX-B150.
The sound quality is really good - I'd connected my phone via Bluetooth in store and played several tracks that I'd recorded (so I know what they should sound like); overall I was impressed. Comparable with the small Bose systems...great hifi.

Spotted these while misses was queueing to pay. Stacks of them so probably Nationwide.
Signal wasn't great so never googled reviews and compared prices. Will be going back in there to grab a set for the Bedroom

No Apt-X support. So it can't be that good. I'd want Apt-X at this price point (based on it's original selling more, even moreso!).

This might sound a really dumb question given the three piece format of these speakers, but do they provide proper stereo sound? I have looked over some of the reviews and on the Yamaha website and found a complete absence of the word 'stereo'. Nothing is mentioned in the features or specifications of its stereo capability.

I would guess the sub isn't stereo, but but mids and tweets are, just like a cinema system

Bose SOundlink hasn't got Apt-X either and gets better reviews than speakers with Apt-X.
Maybe matters more for headphones where there's no signal processing (the speakers will tweak sound anyway to make up for smaller size)

You can buy these in black from amazon.de for €119 (£103) + p&p (€9) but you'd have to wait a while for delivery. White is available for €10 more.
Makes sense. I don't rate Bose stuff either.
It sounds OK-ish (a little dull sounding for my taste). But is WAY over-priced for what it is.
Plus, if you're streaming lossy stuff to it (aka - the vast majority of MP3) then it makes no ends. If you're a FLAC user though, you kind of want Apt-X.

there are tons of speakers without apt-x support which blow away some that do. Harmon Kardon Onyx 2, for example.

Just bought my second set.
These are stunning speakers and look really stylish. Stereo sound is perfectly balanced.
I use one for my TV instead of an ugly soundbar and the other for my B&O Overture. Both use the Aux in facility.
Bluetooth is excellent also.
These are selling out at Costco Watford, I know as another pallet was used to more on the floor.
