Back in stock : Use code TDX-KTRP (00:02 / 23/08/2016)
Good price for an Xbox One with a game. It's £20 cheaper than the recent Smyths deal that came with one of 4 games, all of which can be purchased for less than £20 (give or take a quid for F6).
Effectively an Xbox One bundle, same price, with two games if you were looking to pick up the Smyths deal...
Use code: TDX-WYMJ at checkout.
The blurb...
Experience time-amplified action and a suspenseful storyline in Quantum Break, where time is your greatest weapon and the choices you make impact a gripping live action show. As hero Jack Joyce, you’ll fight your way through epic disasters that stutter back and forth in time. But surviving this unstable world – and halting the end of time itself – is only possible by mastering your new time powers.
This mission-based thriller features a deeply psychological, engaging and suspenseful storyline unveiling new twists and profound character revelations at every turn. With its spacious 500GB hard drive, this Xbox One console has plenty of room for your games and media. Xbox One brings together the best exclusive games and the most advanced multiplayer and entertainment experiences anywhere. Experience the greatest games lineup in Xbox history – exclusively on Xbox One. It’s the only place to play Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6 this year. The perfect balance of power and performance, Xbox One was built by gamers for gamers, and takes gaming to a whole new level.
If, like me, you want a 4k bluray player then the XB1S is comparatively still the bargain to go for. I'll be waiting to see what Sony do though.

The Xbox 1s is £249.99 on pre-order in Game with Fifa 17 but if you trade in an Xbox 360 grade B or better you can get it for £199.99.

A bit naughty, this has been £199 for a couple of weeks because I got one at the beginning of the month.
Those that were fortunate enough to get one, the Quantum Break download is 47GB so hopefully you have a high speed broadband!
I was originally looking at the console that came with FIFA but that had sold out. I managed to get hold of a months EA Access code off a relative so I've had a look at that and it looks quite good.
A years subscription is £20 (sometimes cheaper at cd keys) and if your into EA games then it might be a reasonable purchase. Would be better if SW Battlefront was in the vault but I wouldn't have thought it would be too far away.

Ah ok fair enough, see what you're getting at. Technically doesn't change the rrp though, those aren't official retailers but scalpers. Once they've cleared the standard xbox stocks, the new one s will be from £250 so a bit unfair to compare this deal to profiteers.
"Try finding one now" isn't a great argument. If you could find them officially, they would be £350 rrp (or slightly less from some places).

Tried to order this at Tesco Direct but the offer does not work. Had to ring them up as the code kept saying invalid. They said you can't use the code for this particular item as they have already reduced it by £50.

Eh? Xbox One S starts at £250 for 500gb (when released). What are you on - and where can I get some  Picked up a One S 2TB for £200 when trading original xbox. At full whack, that was only £350. Perhaps you are thinking of Scorpio and speculating (since there's no official pricing or major info yet)

I'm going to hold out. I went into my local tesco yesterday as they was advertising in store the 1tb xb1 with fifa 16 for £209. Told me they have none left and the codes have already expired which I knew weren't true. He also had to add in that he bought a few of them so I'd imagine all the staff snapped them up.
I'd bite for the s @ £249.

They won't exist side by side, the S will replace the standard, older model and this version will eventually run out, that's why it's discounted, to clear stocks...
If the S comes in at the same price, then I think it's a no brainer.

Thats what the rate on ebay/3rd party sellers for the sold out 2tb version, no idea why anyone would pay that price

This was posted before then went out of stock, set up a stock alert, and bought it when it came back in stock.
Also worth noting that this comes with a digital code for Alan Wake (360 game but playable on the One)

personally I think this is it. I really can't see the price coming down anymore. the Xbox one is now the same price as a new Xbox 360!! http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-360/consoles
so can't see it falling below that price. it's an absolute steal at this price anyway!!

Rumors (from game a few other sites). Xbox one s will come in a Fifa 17 bundle. Game believe the 500gb Xbox one s will be around £200 but I'd imaging that's not including Fifa 17.
I'm tempted to wait for the new console but I've got a feeling the current 500gb Fifa 16 bundle will drop in price within the next few weeks as the Fifa 16 code expires end of august
