Somewhere beyond the sea. The first Bioshock is a masterpiece in gaming.

Ths first is one of the greatest games ever made, the third is incredible, and the second gets grief because it's 'only good'
Give me stable framerate footage as proof of port quality then I'll decide.

Stable framerate is something this gen really struggles at.
Low clock Jaguar cores and an anemic GPU. Hopefully they learn and sort it out for next gen although I'm pretty much through with consoles myself (aside from the likes of HALO).

The second one has the masterpiece Minervas Den DLC. All included. I wasn't so keen on the 3rd one. Great graphics but to me, Bioshock is underwater but I guess they couldn't really make a third one in Rapture, but they do go back to it twice in the season pass of Infinite DLC. Looking forward to playing all 3 again and especially number 1 and the DLC for number 2. Number 2 isn't a bad game at all. As a stand alone it's great, it's just that number 1 has the story and the twists.

Didnt have the best story (still good, especially the DLC), but the gameplay is by far the best of the three.

They have been confirmed to be coming but don't think they are as yet. I too am waiting to play the first as I only sampled it and know it's got quite a following.

Edit: I've just noticed it not out for another month so I would expect originals will be backwards compatible on release day.

I heard somewhere (can remember where) that its not a 'remaster' but just a PC port using the best resolution the PC versions had.

Would you kindly buy this game for me please

Great games but I don't think I can quite justify the price to myself for games I've already played, will definately grab it when it's a bit cheaper.

I'm sure they will throw in some enhanced particle effects and sparklies, but yeah resolution and framerate (30?) will probably be all they need to get their 'remaster' out the door. I expect better though and PC players will be up in arms if that's all they're planning to do.

I have all three on the PS3 (No.2 free via PS+ and no.1 under £3 in a sale) but only played the 3rd one (just the base game) and loved it (also free on PS+).
I just wonder if the graphic difference and all the DLC is worth paying out for the PS4 version?

As chicodudi85 said, Bioshock 1 is a masterpiece, IMO found 3 not as gripping as the other two... Get on it!

I don't think there's any arguments on here regarding the first Bioshock being one of the best and most innovative games of all time. A lot of people loved the third one. I preferred the second to the third but each to their own. If you've not played Bioshock before .... how many games from this generation of consoles can even hold a candle up to it? £31 or £32 for all 3 is a bargain and even more so when the price drops.

They are all excellent games. Very good DLC as well.

Echo comments made by everyone. Bioshock (and to a lesser extent the 2nd one) is one of the greatest games every made.

The PC is getting remasters of BioShock 1 and 2, so it will likely be a port of the remasters (in one direction or the other). If the consoles were to end up with ported original PC BioShock 1/2 there'd be a lot of complaints. Infinite is not being remastered for PC as it is considered unnecessary at this time.
