Aye, I expected as much. The car packs aren't all that enticing anyway. I quite like playing through the games without paid DLC as it's more of a challenge. However, the PC version is highly appealing to me as a PC gamer, but I'm not sure how often I would actually sit down and play it on my PC. I should probably just go for this deal and save some money!

If you prefer digital you can normally get 2×£25 codes for £18 each from Waiku which makes the digital versions the same price as this.
Also you get the golden weapon skins and the character skin DLCs if you buy day one (inc zombie Dom :disappointed:)

I am new to XBOX - could you please explain how I can get those £25 codes and use it to buy the Gears of War games and XBOX Live.
Also, I understand the first 3 games will be the XBOX 360 versions - will the 4th game be the same or will it be an XBOX One version?

I love Gears Of War (Judgment does not count). I'm off travelling for 4 months beginning in September. I think I will miss Gears 4 the most in all that time. :disappointed:

Do a search here for Wuaki and you should find plenty of examples of the offers that they run for Xbox Live credit. Here are a couple of recent ones:
When you say "the 4th game", do you mean Gears of War 4 or Gears of War: Judgement? The former is an Xbox One game; the latter is for Xbox 360 (but playable on Xbox One).

Warning. I pre-ordered Uncharted 4 and got it 4 days after launch... When I complained they told me it was MY fault, because I hadn't chosen super fast delivery for my pre order... Surely you'd expect them to send it earlier if they know the postage is slower - it is a PRE order after all... I'm never buying from them again.
Follow the link, once you have paid you will be sent a code to redeem the £25 credit, enter the code on your Xbox and you are good to go. Just browse the Xbox store and buy what you like.
They do those deals every couple of weeks.
The old Gears games are the 360 ones, however they are all backwards compatible which means you can download and play on your Xbox One.
