The can will be made from Aluminium and will have a plastic coated lining inside the can. So you won't taste tinniness, you'll taste whatever taste you get from the beer being in contact with plastic.

Here, I just found out that this stuff is only 4.5%, whereas bottled Hobgoblin is 5.2%
Shocker!

Same as on draft. No big deal. Just drink more. It's all good.

£1.99 for four cans in Aldi (Cleveleys)
The 4.5% is for Hobgoblin Gold, standard Hobgoblin is 5.2% in cans and bottles.
After consuming many bottles and cans (sensibly) I can add it is an excellent beer!

Correction to my last Hobgoblin Gold is 4.2 and there are cans of Hobgoblin available at both 4.5 and 5.2???

I think all the cans are now the 4.5 'cask strength', they changed a couple of months ago. Don't suppose it'll be too long before they change the bottled version too :disappointed: Back when Wychwood was independent, even the cask version was 5.5% !
