I think it's really a matter of preference rather than what individuals or public think mate. I paid £200 for mine. It's equal to the price of a new console but when I was doing it, I wanted that not the console so I'm happy with my purchase. If you could get it cheaper, from my point of view it's a bargain, from someone else's you might be getting ripped off. I'm a collector at the end of the day.

Well, they finally decided to cancel my Triss. :disappointed: My orders for the others remain open, but I'm not hopeful.

No revised date for me as of yet. Still waiting but then wordery and others started selling this for a few pounds more so I'll wait until end of December and will buy form elsewhere if they didn't send it.

No date for me - I just get "We're still trying to obtain the following items" emails every so often, for all of the figures (aside from Triss, cancelled as above).

The Book Depository briefly listed Triss for just over £23 last week, but they cancelled my order the following day. Nowhere else seems to have her figure for a reasonable price otherwise. :disappointed:

Did they actually adjust the price of your order with Book Depository? I tried asking for that and simpply got the insistence that that wasn't possible, even when I said that I knew they'd already done similar.

However, I did get them to give a £6 credit to me (i.e., the price difference, rounded up) - I can't use it against an order from a third party Amazon seller, but can apply it to my next order with Amazon themselves. I've not gotten arouund actually to changing my order just yet.

They were certainly taking a similar approach for my orders, even though I did eventually manage to get the credit that I mention above. For those other than Geralt, they offered nothing except a suggestion to cancel. :disappointed:

No they didn't match exactly. I ended up paying 52p more but then as far as I get this, I'll be happy, TBH. If Bure receives his order this means Amazon has certainly oversold these and won't be able to fulfill the orders. I think I was lucky the guy I spoke too was into helping me, some of the advisors on Amazon are just useless!

I was tempted to get ciri also but the face just felt a little off to me (like yens too) so I didn't.

Still no date from Amazon on the others, so I'm not holding out too much hope, and withthe cancellation on Triss she seems to be a lost cause.

I really don't understand what's happened with the availability of these in the UK... while I appreciate that it may be that Ciri, Yen and Eredin may not have been formally released yet, I'd have expected better availability for Cerlt and Triss than what seems to be pretty much just a handful of resellers with significantly marked-up prices.

The Book Depository, though via Amazon in this case rather than direct. I've had a couple of other orders cancelled due to insufficient stock before this one.

Nah, if you're taking a similar approach to me, buying individually should work out a fair bit cheaper than buying the set outright - I've set myself a price ceiling of £25 per figure, and all being well, should be getting some of them for more like £20. Ciri was a particularly good buy, for only £18!

I saw Geralt for £15 a couple of days ago, but that doesn't seem to have lasted for long...

Let me know if you find a good price for Eredin - if my existing orders come off (still a fairly big "if", given how my other orders have gone so far...), he should be the only one that I'm missing.

There's something odd going on here with Yennefer/Eredin - books, etc. have changed their listing for Yen to Eredin, including what shows for my (as yet undispatched) order, and created a new listing for Yennefer. I've sent a support message in to ask what's going on, as Yennefer is a higher priority that Eredin for me.

I've had a response from books, etc., and apparently there was an error with the ISBN associated with Eredin/Yennefer (I have to wonder whether they truly have an ISBN, given that they're not books :p) - possibly some miscommunication from Dark Horse and/or wholesalers, given that it seems not just to be a single retailer. They've set up a replacement order for me for Yennefer, though haven't confirmed the price that I'll be paying. Hopefully it'll just be what I originally ordered at...

Had a visit to my local GAME today and surprisingly they had both Ciri and Yennifer for sale at £29.99 each. I did not know if GAME was ever selling these but the chap said they've been doing this for 3 months and had only a few left to clear the stock out. Worth checking yours. Not all that serious anymore unless there was a really good price on one that I couldn't say no to! I can't justify the current price when I won't play the game again. I'm going to keep them boxed mate. I just don't ever opening any of my collectors unless I buy second hand versions. I compared the face of ciri with the stock image on Amazon and it appears there are two versions of this out there! No way what I've got it same as that stock image.

So as I told you Wordery cancelled my Triss order the other day and I left them a bad review. I was contacted and given a 10% off discount code as an apology and today I noticed Triss is again in stock on their website. I have placed an order again using the code! Not keeping too much hope but the code clearly points out it was issued by customer service so I hope this time they really supply this for me as they for you and I can sleep easily at night from now onwards :disappointed:

GAME sometimes reserve their stock for people. I did the same, I asked to keep the figures behind counter for me until I've got money to pay. It maybe the case why you've been told it's OOS. I had a bit of a game drought over this Christmas holiday. Nothing I wanted to play so decided to finish Witcher. It was a speed run so wasn't really that long thankfully

I know my store only have a policy of keeping stock till the end of the day so yeah I guess someone else could have rang first. I'll keep an eye on forbidden planet and see how it goes.

I'm just unsure on which ones I want to be honest. I personally don't want Eredin and I've only got room for one more (the syndicate big Ben edition is bigger than I thought!) Respect, but good has no meaning if there is no bad opposing it! I didn't like Eredin and I made sure I smashed him in the final boss fight but I do love the figure, it is even better looking than Geralt... Maybe because there it has a helmet instead so the details does not need to be spot on for him.

For the trophy is a good idea. But, I have been sober recently and I am finding these to become harder and harder to get, not sure if you are going to have enough luck on a drunken night. :stuck_out_tongue:

It's definitely the helmet. Faces are always a tough part to do in a figure.

FWIW, if I wanted to I could fairly readily rebox the Witcher 3 figures - I have all of the packaging, including the ties that held the figures to the internal plastic, and the only 'seal' is the small strip of sellotape that's easily replaceable. :wink:

When I ordered it, it came from Simply Games (order invoice was included). No idea who they'd use.

They go with any retailer who offers the cheapest. Only thing is in 2014 I ordered a set of cutlery through them and it never arrived. After a month contacted them just to find out it's been never sent out since the item was kind of out of stock and they never told me. Well basically that was not a popular set and they maybe never been able to supply it from anywhere in the first places. Got a refund and never came back, lol.

It looks more bad-ass than the main statue from collector's edition. Hope the built quality and paintings are good too. Ciri and Yennifer were off from the previous batch, IMO. Yep, I'm very pleased (it should be, given the price!).

I don't have in the way of collector's stuff that's overly large so still have a reasonable amount of capacity... but I may start struggling again by the end of this console generation. Don't just throw away any of what you have - you'll end up regretting it, and worst case, I'm sure that you can get some value for it, if you did need to sell. Failing that, I can think of at least one good home for some of it. :wink:

Ended up getting Eredin recently on that 20% off Amazon Warehouse offer which made it really cheap (used but still factory sealed and only a dent in the box but I unbox then anyway). You're right, it's an awesome figure! It's sucked me back in though as I'm not thinking about Yen or Triss too X) Oh and of course the future Geralt coming out.... And my Destiny figures

On another note, didn't know where else to type this to Mix and Illusionary. A few bits of spare collectables I'm trying to get rid of (nothing special, just a few steelbooks I think) aren't worth selling so if either of you are interested you can have them. A little busy with studies at the moment but I'll get a list up and if either of you are interested I'll send them over when I get the chance

Didn't know where else to post this, didn't think it'd go down well as a deal but these Geralt vinyls are either £14.99 or £18.99 instore at GAME. They look pretty cool. They were marked up at £14.99 however some were scanning at £18.99 but some £14.99 so I have no idea :face_with_monocle:

The Butcher version was also available. I went for the standard.
