Unlike any other guides, Witcher 3 guide has hiked crazily in price and that said they're going for £50+ on eBay (personally since I've missed it, I've been desperately bidding to get one up to my budget but no luck by far). This edition is sort of a second print which is more complete than the first print... And yes, I'm not gonna miss it this time. Cheapest I could find but would be fab if anyone could beat this price for me!

Available also at Amazon £24.99 but not released until 30th August so this must be a new edition that is just being released.

Yes mate this is the complete edition which is being release with the complete edition of game too and contains the info from both dlcs (extra 300 pages) plus an updated structure. This was the cheapest I could spot and it is £7 less than Amazon.

Never ever needed a guide in my life for any game, what is the point of them ? except to spoil and cheat in game ? would rather be surprised in game myself.

I can only speak regarding the hard back version, which is great. Basically the guide has lots of background info regarding the game, characters, places to visit etc. It is a really good guide

Have you extracted every single bit of stuff out of the game? I'm on my second pay thru & I'm still finding new stuff I missed first time around plus the guide us also a collectors thing too for fans of the game

You alright mate? After your and so many other people's recommendations I do keep nosing around for a bargain basement price on this game but I suppose I might as well jump on the GOTY version at some point in the near to medium future.
As I'm sure I told ya before I have got the original collector's guide factory sealed with bonus art book or whatever it is sat in my collection in storage and having noticed the price it goes for I been tempted to whack it on Ebay loads of times but resisted, seeing there's this new one coming out perhaps I should have done but it is what it is.
Pretty dumb question but are we totally at the end of all DLC for Witcher 3 now? I have read this is the case and am assuming that this guide here is the definitive version which includes all those expansion packs etc so am tempted to grab this print too.
16 quid does seem a great deal, especially if you want to grab it straight away, but if you're willing to wait a wee while like only a few days there may be a cheaper option.......
In my experience UKpaperbackshop a third party outfit on Amazon are nearly always a shade over half price with the postage on strategy guides so you could well get it for a couple of quid cheaper through them. I've bought off them loads of times and they are very reliable, they not got this title up at the moment hmmm in fact there are no Marketplace sellers who have but I reckon that will change come Tuesday.

Hi dude. I'm fine mate, hope you're too. Thanks for the advise, I'll keep an eye o. The retailer on Amazon mate.
The guide is defensive version mate as the game is being released on the same basis too. If you've not bought this yet, it's best to get the GOTY edition instead as this way you'll end up paying less I believe and you'll get everything including huge downloads (patches) all inclusive on the disk, better option overall.
Can't wait for the goty version to unlock on the 30th.
Thanks OP

Yeah I'm fine ta, I been getting back in to Splatoon of late but that's down to me spending more time at home again. The PS4 n Xbone are at my mum's whilst the Wii U and older consoles are at mine.
Oh me being the brat I am and wanting to have a copy to open and have a nosey at I ended up ordering this and The Illustrated History of Videogames from speedyhen yesterday with the 5% code.
I received a mail a few hours later saying the books had dispatched which seemed odd for a Sunday night so I checked the tracking number and it said shipment is still with sender. Mine are coming with Yodel and in my experience they are the worst firm going, absolute pony. Though I have been down their Enfield depot in the past kicking off like a madman when I've caught them out blaltantly lying so perhaps my name flashes up as they seem to have got stuff to me pretty lively ever since :man:

Haha, yeah I did not expect to see mine being really dispatched too as it would've not made any sense but yet they've been really speedy and I'm happy about it.
You and your half-half gaming setup... Haha, hope you're enjoying both your time at home and at your mum's! Haha
Chasloyal
30 Aug 16#26
It is very frustrating actually, not just for gaming reasons but for everything. Living out of a bag means you're always caught short somewhere, from minor stuff like your razor at mum's but you're at home wanting a shave to sorting out important paperwork only to find out you left it at home and you're back at mum's.
The sooner we get our lives sorted and are able to get a suitably sized house in a mutually acceptable area for us all the better, I'll finally be able to get my man cave up and running again too
mixmixi
30 Aug 16#27
Haha, yeah was about to say it's one for you to merge your two halves of your life into one! I'm almost fully settled now. Got a storage in the new house which is as big as 2sqm and as soon as I manage to shelve it, it'll be my man cave, lol.
Chasloyal
30 Aug 16#28
I really don't know what to do because I don't actually know when all the chaos in our world will settle down.
We got my gaff that needs totally sorting from top to bottom like kitchen and bathroom and a bit of blown plastering in the hallway to make it suitable to rent out. Luckily my mum's gaff is fine bar a couple of bit n bobs for that to be tenant ready again but then there's the missus getting a transfer from her work, me looking in to buying a franchise but still searching for the right location to take the plunge so can't even start looking for somewhere to buy our new house as we don't know where we'll end up.
Luckily we have got the dough in the bank from the sale of the house in Austria which of course is the biggest thing but being able to steer everything in to falling in to place at the right time to be able to do it all in a set time window seems like mission impossible.

I done a post earlier asking if anyone that bought this has received their book yet but because I said something derogatory with a few x's thrown in about Yodel it was sent off to the thought police for moderation. Alas it would appear there must be some member of the Yodel Defence League censoring me stating the truth :smirk:
So has anyone got their book yet or are you experiencing the usual Yodel issues as my screen capture?
