Haha, it might be a good deal for the fans, but the game is still rubbish.

Why does there always have to be someone who is bitter about one of the best western RPGs, if not the best, games on the market.
It didn't win all those awards and sell 10m or so copies and have all that acclaim both critical and from general fans for nothing.

This game is one of the best I have ever played. Not only do you get over 100 hours of engrossing storyline play is there 2 DLC expansions that are bigger than most full price release titles. Oh and that doesn't include the consistent patch updates that improve the game, including a fully redesigned interface.
Also the fact that this is a 'Game of the Year' release probably says something about this 'rubbish' game.

Too much. 26 years later this is still true:

Errr, I've put in over 130 into the Witcher and I'm a fairly casual gamer as I don't have too much free time. That's also over the course of a few months.
Plenty of people have time to invest in gaming. Stupid question.

god i wish i could neglect my partner and the kids for that long! to be fair. I'd much rather spend that time doing something productive.

I have a partner and plenty of outside interests in my community. My friend, also a big Witcher fan, has a wife and a 3 year old with a demanding job and still time to have other interests. If you'd rather not play one of the best video games ever, then fine, why bother commenting on a thread on said video game?

I'm a dark souls fan, and after playing all of those games for several years, the Witcher 3 just felt clumsy and awkward in comparison.
So much so that I flogged it within a week of release.
I'm a big fan of the witcher 2, great game,I also loved the likes of fable, 2 and 3. But this was over hyped and disappointing

You should be aware that no one here is permitted to have an opinion unless they meet the requisite number of deals posted. I can't help but think who the sadder is - those who instantly check your profile to see you've posted no deals and think it's a counter argument, or those who merely pass an opinion that might not fit with the masses.....

Haha some of the comments on here are poor. I wanted to like this game, having liked the Fallout series, but I just couldn't get on with it. Got about 20 hours in and was fed up with fetch quests, side quests leading to more side quests. It's a strange criticism, but I found the game had too much to offer, too much going on. Heat for the deal.
