Been looking for cheap Electric hob to use as a back up in the garden and indoors. This is the cheapest I've found. Wilko also has the single Electric hob for £9.

just remember that the smaller ring has less wattage and therefore less power to cook at high temps. In over words it takes 40 mins to boil water for pasta, and forget about frying...had to get the more expensive lloytron version in Argos after trying a few out similar to this.

I used one of these for about 10 years when I was renting and the landlords wouldn't provide a cooker (cheap rooms as I had little money) - it worked fine
