Hi guys can anyone please tell me if you can mirror websites onto one of these boxes?
Yes but afaik bbc iPlayer is the only content that outputs 1080p on NowTV boxes
Sky's own content is max 720p I believe

Yes and no.
White Box no, but Black Box yes. :-)

BLACK BOX works out at £4.43 a month for Movies which is £9.99 a month otherwise.
or £3.96 a month for Entertainment which is £6.99 a month otherwise.
As I have a couple of boxes already, even better is the WHITE BOX deal, entertainment works out at just £3.29 a month.
It's a good deal!

Black boxes totally recommended (got half a dozen now around self/friends/family) and if you've got a White box I'd recommend retiring it and replacing with Black box ASAP as we all have. [Update: Though if you're driving a composite TV rather than a HDMI one, see mbuckhurst's point below that ONLY the white box has that old video out and the white box is all you can use with a pre-HDMI TV.]
re 1080 that the Black box can output, the YouTube App also delivers high quality HD video on a 55" 1080p display, I assume at 1080 resolution, although of course it's all down to the source material needing to be in high quality.

the 4 months movies for 20 quid posted earlier is a better deal. team it up with the new customers for 1 month for a quid deal and you're laughing.
could get you 4 months which works out cheaper or you could buy that pass and an entertainment bundle and have both movies and entertainment for less.

Of course the white boxes are the only ones capable of delivering video/sound over a cable other than HDMI, I use mine to feed a CRT television, using a relatively cheap Nokia phone cable. Other TVs with HDMI have the black boxes but the good old white box will stay until the TV gets replaced.

Just missed the Argos deal a couple of days ago, Box and 6 months Ent for £19.99. Bought 2 earlier in the year on this deal, its often repeated and is a better deal! Of course, if you need it now, go with the Shopto deal:)

Depends what you want to do and watch?
You get full access to BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and Demand 5, regardless if your Now TV subscription has run out...
You also can stream and control YouTube from your mobile (if connected to same wireless network).
You cannot stream Virgin TV or Sky from a main set top box to this...
While you are a Now TV customer, you get about 13 channels through the Entertainment package, like Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Atlantic, National Geographic, MTV, etc... You also have access to the box sets.
The Film Pack, gives you access to a few hundred films in demand. There are a few big hitter films on there, that are recent, but many are old and questionable if you'd want to watch again!
If you are expecting the Freeview channels you will still need an aerial connection.
