New Giant Crumpets from Warburtons. They feature the same texture, taste and fluffiness as our standard crumpets, however this time, we’ve made them bigger! Designed to fit perfectly in the toaster, they’re a perfect anytime meal solution for busy families and people on the go.

This brand offerings are no good, very poor taste and cheap ingredients - you pay for the brand indeed. Try sainsbury's TTD or waitrose (not essential).which are far better options.

Couldn't disagree more. Its one of only ONE product where I buy only the top brand!

Recipe tip.
Whisk up one egg per two crumpets with salt, pepper and nutmeg in a bowl whose bottom is flat enough to take the crumpet (oo-err missus). Dip both side of the crumpets in the egg for a few seconds. It will slurp up the egg, then fry it in butter until crisp and browned on both sides. you can also sprinkle the top with cheese, once flipped, for extra calories and tasty goodness.

Shame they contain e-number additives, which is why I don't touch their products. Tesco's home brand crumpets, for example, do not!
hmmmmm all that melted real butter running down my chin

Tesco crumpets ( http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=287785132 ) contain:
Calcium Carbonate - that is E170
Disodium Diphosphate - E339
Sodium Bicarbonate - E500
Potassium Sorbate - E202
You don't seem to understand what E numbers are.
