There's different types for different hair. I have to say it works a lot better for my hair which is thick, straight and very dark.

Kipa Toffee is a similar consistency and hold, but again needs a spray fix. It's also cheaper than American Crew etc..but not a cheap as this deal.

Tried most hair products and for me nothing as good as Moosehead Grubby putty. only £5 and I think better than all the more expensive stuff like fudge/American crew etc etc. The VO5 range I personally think isn't that good.

Got a travel size one of these from o2 recently and was disappointed.. Wouldn't have it again even for free! Thin and runny and needed quite a lot to do anything, when it dried out it was like there was nothing there after a few hours. Perhaps it has to travel with you!
Thanks OP, but cold from me :disappointed:

This VO5 product is good for shaping and styling but needs fixing with a spray for it to hold all day.

I haven't tried any of the Muk range yet. Good for a medium wavey style?

That's great, man, but it's also £10 more expensive!

The funky shaper is very good, I hope that one is included in the deal!

Hot price! I mix a little of this with a little Paul Mitchell ESP, sculps well and great hold when fixed.

Have you tried Muk? Because the blue version of that not only smells better than this but works a lot better.

Really? Wow, my barber did say VO5 was the best out of anything you can get at a supermarket store. What premium products have you tried?
