Popped into my local LIDL this morning and along with the updated fresh offers for the week seen various salad items for half price. I asked the assistant and he said they should be national and will run for a week. They also have some great deals on fruit and veg at the moment, Worth popping in if you have a store near you.
Just a few examples, Hope this is helps. Happy saving :)
Just been there, a lot of savings on fruits and veg across the store, beef tomatoes 99p a kilo (though I was charged £1.59, but couldn't be bothered to go back). Pack of lemons 64p, Pears 99p a kilo, Braeburn apples 94p a kilo etc.

I was in Lidl this afternoon and I paid 74p for 2 cucumbers, so it can't be national :smirk:

Isn't it insane that none of those items are as cheap as a pack of their custard creams (13p)?

Hi backinstock, Unfortunately I didn't go down the drinks aisle so cannot comment on that one, I did notice they had various wines from £2.99 in the "Taste of Iberia" section. Wouldn't surprise me if they had more though, They seem to have alot of good offers recently.
