No idea when it "was" £24.99 but this has not been more than £9.99 at my local store for as long as I can remember, having bought one about 18months ago. Still going strong although I did have to resew one of the zip endstops once due to being a little aggressive in attempting to quickly extract an item. Fair price for what is is.

Look, just because a poster steals a deal - they might be usefully reminding people of a deal that is now a distant memory.
Let's not call them deal thieves, let's presume the best - the benefit of the doubt!
Just don't steal my deals pls Gammage, OK?

i found them to be of poor quality and quite uncomfortable on your back. bought one about a year ago and it lasted one flight before the stitching starting coming off and the bag frayed. had to buy a bag abroad for the rest of the holiday. returned when i got back for a refund

Dave,
I expect to get flamed for this, however a deal is something others would find useful, not simply marked down. This I a good deal I you are looking for basic carry on luggage. As for your "doubting my veracity" I've checked the main threads and the deal is not posted anywhere else (other than older posts from 7 months ago which have been expired). So it is a valid deal and has been posted so others can get a benefit. If you don't think its a deal vote cold, but please don't disparage genuine posts.

Thanks, nice that someone actually noticed and pointed this out ☺️
Also, I think it should be unexpired as these bags are available across the stores for the same price. Worth ringing and asking for availability. These were in stock online three weeks ago, then oos, then in stock again and now oos again, so most likely it will come to stock on about weeks time?

Look at the post from phiras a few up from mine? These bags are always this price in HB and lo and behold a new 'deal' is posted days after they are mentioned in another post....Not that I'm doubting your veracity of anything like that.....

Dave - what deal? I saw these online and in Hamilton Home Bargains. I cant see the deal (as mentioned previously HUKD usually stops you posting duplicates), of someone's posted this deal please point me at it and I'll mark this as expired.

Phiras, presume you mean Andyrod and appreciate that there was an older deal - usually HUKD tells you your deal is a duplicate and this time it didn't. Might be the older deal was expired. In any case - happy to share the credit, as the objective of HUKD is to share deals to benefit everyone. @Andyrod - have som heat

Being OOS and being OOS online are two very different things. They're still in my local home bargains, so people can still purchase them.

For the people that have bought it; Is it quite tough on your back when it's loaded up?

It's not too bad. Plenty of padding. Seems to be balanced well when packed full.
I got one about 3 years ago, which has been on about 15 flights, and still as good as new. Even bought another in Purple.

I have one and use it every day to cart to work, each of my family members have one and my friend travelled Thailand with only one of these. For the money they are great -I will buy another if and when mine gets a bit scruffy. What I will say is that these have been this price for years. Don't expect £50+ quality and you will be impressed. They also have a purple bag at times and also a black and white spotty one (in a cheaper feeling patent style material)
I wouldn't have bought it for much more than £10 at the time but would buy again in a breath.

Just bought the £8.99 one, it's really good, OK for a carry on.
Bought one a month ago for next holiday, first impressions are it's a great little case for the price :sunglasses:

Thanks Andy, just saw it and thought I'd share. £9.99 feels a great price even if the £24.99 on the site is overstated.
