Decent price if you need something more robust than the normal portable hard drives around. Only the Black/Green at this price, other colours are £50+

So we should only post deals that are the cheapest they have been in the last year? Not what they are now? Which in this instance is the cheapest available, today!
Did I say it was the cheapest it's ever been? No. As of right now, it is if you want it tomorrow, with good CS support, I would willingly pay 40p more than I can get it for on flubit. And there aren't any assurances everyone will get the same 40p discounted offer as me!

Your check of competitor prices extends to every day in the last year?
Thought not.

Have you tried flubit for cheaper? I did, and got a whole 40p cheaper. But I would prefer to buy from Amazon, who have a much better track record with customer services issues the odd time I have been unfortunate to have to use them. The flubit offer was from Fireworks Direct who have mixed reviews with delivery times and have taken complaints to actually get items sent out to buyers, with Prime I can have it tomorrow.
The graph shows this has been the cheapest it has been on Amazon (except for one instance of a flash deal which doesn't show up on graph), and that is still considerably less than anywhere else online after a quick google search.

Actually quite a good hard drive i have mine literally sitting beside me, i paid £63.98 for it on 17th Jul 2013 ago and its still good and kicking i will say however the usb lead they provide is about as long as your hand and disconnects easy

Glad someone picked up on the irony of a pointless response to a pointless comment, with another pointless response.

Bought one ages ago for around £50, and it works like a charm. Use as a back-up.

Pretty sure for ultimate robustness (military) grade - this would have to be an SSD

These are great. Got 2. Can the guy who paid less than £40 prove it? I doubt it!

i am happy with my segate 2tb ultra slim, it fell from desk after usb cable got pulled abruptly when it was connected to laptop and i thought it would not work anymore. but it worked fine.. lots of drives these days are shock proof and park their "heads" during shock

Most hard drives are actually fairly robust if not spinning/in-use. This just has a thick plastic case with a silicone jacket around it which is enough to protect against scratches, bumps and being tossed in a rucksack and carried around. Almost definitely worth the extra over a normal disk.

only 728,178! (1024*1024/1.44) That would only take like 506 days assuming you can do one a minute constantly

Bought this as my expandable hdd for my xbox one and had been great. Picked it up cheaper than this but well worth the money.

Same, seems like a decent drive. Been using mine for nearly a year zero issues, quick transfers and stands up to being dropped fine (oops).
