Not sure if they have the right watch for sale here. In the description it says TomTom Spark Music GPS Fitness Watch. Not the Spark Cardio and Music. They are two different watches. Further down in the description though it says:

Good price for either but total bargain if it is the cardio and music one.

Just got tempted but after a little Google and downloaded the groupon app I'm pretty sure the watch doesn't have the heart rate monitor unfortunately. Still a good find

I've got the Runner 2 cardio + music (same watch different strap) for £115 this is a steal. Paid about £150 a month ago.

I noticed the same discrepancy between title and description. The built in HR sensor is pretty crucial for me. Not prepared to take the risk.

Have been close to buying the Cardio + Music a couple of times but the inability to listen to audiobooks or podcasts really limits its usefulness to me :-(

So I've queried with Groupon and they've said it's just the Music model they are selling. I've pointed out all of the discrepancies in their advertising so hopefully they'll amend this accordingly. A bit disappointing as I was hoping for the HR monitor, but still a pretty good deal if you don't need the HR monitor. I'll update the post.

Judging by the response I received from their "customer support" who suggested I read the fine print in future, I really don't think they care. They obviously figure they'll sell more by falsely advertising the product... :smirk:

Did they actually state categorically that it was the none-cardio or did they just brush you off?

This was their reply, which I read as it being the non-cardio model...

Yeah, I kind of get that impression too! I had already purchased it before querying so if it turns up and it's cardio then yay, if not then I'll be sending it back too. No prob, will post any updates that I get.

They've amended the description and videos now to reflect

Ugh. Well I ordered it last night so I'll just have to send it back...

Doesn't do auto-resume or any kind of bookmarking, meaning if you leave your book 7 hours in, you have to find that location again manually. Shame, as being able to run/ride without having to carry anything but my watch and headphones is the dream :-)

I just got an email (from Groupon CS) telling me it is the cardio version... It's obviously not but you'd think someone had a clue!

What a joke! They have emailed me a refund slip to include with my return, but they haven't even dispatched it yet! Clueless.

I'm still slightly (naively!) optimistic that we'll receive the HRM versions... I genuinely don't think Groupon have a clue what they're selling and are covering themselves by changing the item description. If it is then that's a bonus if not we'll all be sending them back!

Ah right - see what the issue is for you there then - I hadn't thought of that - I hadn't even twigged it didn't auto-resume when listening to the mp3s on mine.

I received mine today (despite not getting a dispatch notice) and it's the Tomtom Spark Music, not Cardio so it will be going back. It's still a good pretty good price for what it is, but unfortunately I need the HR monitor.

I contacted groupon yesterday.

Just had an email back today 'assuring me the watch has the HRM'

So I guess I'll just wait to see what I get.
I think I am being hopeful as everyone seems to be very confused on this item

It's still a good price but I can't help feeling a little negative as since buying the watch groupon have changed the description from cardio &music to just music.

It does still have the model number in the specifics of the cardio and even mentions the heart rate element

wish I'd read this site before buying - yep mines turned up - non cardio. What a waste of time
