They always seem so incapable of doing anything Thunderbirds properly.
You can't even get the new series on blu-Ray - only DVD! Archiving the broadcast version is the best current option.
It should have been so obvious that people looking for a nostalgia fix would want the OAR, likewise; anyone collecting for any reason. By all means add the reformat as an option.

Personally, I would recommend the German release of Thunderbirds.
I'm afraid it’s pricier than US release but has better picture quality (there’s some rather nasty aliasing on the US version) and is Region B. Original 4:3 picture and English mono soundtrack all present and correct and also comes with English subtitles should you need them. Got mine for just over £36 delivered when it was on offer last Christmas, so if happy to wait perhaps worth keeping an eye on for future price-drops.

I'll leave this then!
Is there a non-horrible version of Starfleet on blu-ray?

So is this the horrible version or the good version?
I don't want the horrible version, even at this price!

There's only one version and it's horrible (unless you're prepared to import the US version)

Yes, it is a review of the 2015set which looks like it was only released in the US. :disappointed:
Sure am.

Not sure there is one (unless you're referring to the US release)

the deal is for the U.K. 16.9 version - think this review is for the superior U.S release which has preserved it's original ratio.

Review. It's a better release than the one from 2008, which was cropped to 16:9 instead of it's original presentation.
*EDIT* Just found out it's the cropped set, so better if you can find the 2015 set...
