Looks like a really good deal since they're actually charging the same price for 5gb of data for 12 months!

Probably no TCB: "1-month Contract SIM plans, Mobile Broadband, PAYG Handsets, SIMs and Mobile Broadband, Upgrades and Special deals for existing customers are not eligible for cashback."
That is one of the most unclear sentences ever - I think it means:
1-month Contract SIM plans,
Mobile Broadband,
PAYG Handsets, SIMs and Mobile Broadband,
Upgrades and
Special deals for existing customers
are not eligible for cashback.

20gb per month as far as I can see, it's pay monthly not pre paid

Although this is a data SIM, I think you can use it in a phone, and just pay 3p/min for calls and 2p per text.
I've bought it with the mifi unit, but very tempted to put it in my phone - I don't make many calls or texts.

£5 monthly discount for paying by DD which means £8 per month. Also, Quidco, £100 cashback for all 12 month SIM contracts with 4GB or more data per month (excludes the 4GB/600 minutes tariff). Is that correct?
jambone to sazzopardi1971
29 Aug 162#21
No, it says price includes a £5 discount, which means if you don't pay with DD the price would be £18pm

It's mainly for tablets, it's a data sim, not a talk sim. I ended up going for the 12gb sim deal with 200 mins to get the £100 cash back and £50 amazon voucher. Think this deal is great tho! Very hot!

30 Aug 161#49
Checked TCB and it indeed does seem to state that you wouldn't get cashback for this particular deal, however Quidco doesn't mention the same restrictions so might work!
jambone
30 Aug 161#50
From looking at Quidco's T&C's it seems like you would get cashback, however the T&C's on Topcashback say you wouldn't. If I needed this, personally, I would probably take the risk, but it's up to you if it's still good value to go for it if the Quidco money doesn't come through.
All the best

my sim only deal is eligible for upgrade since yesterday, I called the 3 network and spoke to sales adviser, no luck with any descent offers as she offered: unlimited mins, unlimited text and 8GB of data for £16 its included £10 as she mentioned and told her it's not the deal as I can get cheaper elsewhere. Why I need go throughout the cancellation in order to get better deal? it's exactly the same as almost all companies like: any insurance companies, Sky, Virgin, BT and others.

yes you can as long as its 3g/4g slot on your phone but beware 3mobile doesn't support 2g so once you have your other sim active your 3 sim wont work unless you connected to internet....if it makes sense

Let me tell you what I did to get a data SIM. I signed up with EE for a 32GB SIM only with for £28 / month on a 1 month contract. I colleague did got on the same deal but through CPW with a mifi device. The then got an email with a subject of "Loads of Data" from EE offering 64GB for the same £28 / month if he committed to a 12 month contract.
So I called EE and told them about this and after some discussion and reference to another team they gave me the same deal, 64GB per month for £28 on a 12 month contract.
The SIM will work in any device and you can make calls and send text messages but they will cost extra as none are included.
I've never hit the limit but I understand that its capped.
If anyone tries to get that deal and has a problem. Please PM me and I can give you the number of my SIM and then you can quote that to the EE agent as evidence that they deal is possible.

I got excited about the EE 64GB for £28 and gave the number I found on another forum a call. I think its an offer only available as an existing EE data sim customer as a retentions deals - something I wasn't aware of. Already had a data sim so no problem.
I was skeptical, but the guy I spoke to was awesome and let me have it with another 10% off. 64GB for £25.20 per month on 12mth contract. Really good as I can't get fibre broadband and use this as my main internet.
Still tempted by the Three offer as well (not so hot now there is no Amazon voucher included)

Really happy you got such a good deal. What do you use the SIM with?

7 Nov 16#62
What's not clear to me is whether tethering is within the allowance for this SIM. Also, if used within a mifi, is this akin to phone/tablet internet usage or does the operator see this as tethering and therefore outside the scope of the intended package?
Anyone know for sure??
pops
EDIT: Actually, judging by this page it appears that for another quid, you get the a mifi on the same plan so it's all considered the same thing then. You may need to call them to confirm but it does seem to be the case.
