This is a great price.. I remember buying the individual boxsets when they were this much for each season!

Is the blu-ray the same quality as Amazon prime's HD stream?

The remastered source will be the same so you will probably be happy with the Prime stream.
The Blu-ray version will benefit from higher bitrates/lower compression, plus extra fan material.
Both are infinitely superior to the DVD set, especially as the earlier seasons are now presented in 16:9.

I was going to buy the set but then they popped onto Amazon quite a few months ago....Watched them all back to back and season 10 had just concluded when I finished so watched them as well! 208 episodes and 2 films
So yes you have a way to go

Just a little heads up for anybody, you can watch these in HD on Amazon Prime, I started from the beginning last week and honestly didn't realise how many there was! I'm up to something like episode 19 of series 1 so quite a few to go lol. Quality is much better than DVD, if only we had HD back in the 90's!

Yeah I started with the HD viewing a couple of months back and also forgot how many episodes there were.
Word to the wise - try not to binge on these. Gets very samey, very fast! I'm sure it was The Guardian or somethign that recently did a top 50 monster of the week episode list or something along those lines. Now that is a much more enjoyable way to view them. The whole conspiracy stuff was great back in the day but super lame on repeat viewing.

The difference is really quite shocking. Worth the upgrade if you fancy watching them all again.
