That's actually Stratford-upon-Avon and it's more south-south-west of Birmingham :wink: But most people I know call it Stratford, and it's not like it's some obscure backwater, it's the birth place of the guy who seems to be generally considered the nation's greatest playwright. Pretty much everyone has read at least one of his works, unless they bunked off all their English lessons at school. It's also a tourist hotspot. If anywhere in the country deserves to be referred to simply as Stratford in the context of addressing a national audience, it's Stratford-upon-Avon.

There is one place called Stratford , it is 20 or so miles south of Birmingham

There is a Tesco express on the Banbury Rd too
