£20 Superdry specs code (norm £99)*
Or £30 prescription sunnies (norm £109). Incl delivery
19 days left
You can get Superdry glasses for £20 (norm £99) and Superdry prescription sunnies for £30 (norm £109) if you enter the MSE Blagged code SUPERDUPER at glasses retailer SpeckyFourEyes* by 11.59pm on Sun 21 Aug.
Delivery's free when you use the code (norm £4.99), and takes 7-20 working days. Standard lenses are included in the price of the frames, but bifocal or thin lenses cost extra.
Key need-to-knows for getting cheapest price before you start
The code is valid on Superdry frames only, not on anything else on the site.
Once you've selected your Superdry frames, you'll only get the price above if you pick 'continue with free lenses' when asked to choose your lens package. If you want one of the 'Specky' packages, which include thinner and scratch resistant lenses, it'll cost £9-£125 extra.
You can either enter your prescription during the checkout process, or opt to send it later. Some frames aren't suitable for high prescriptions, so keep an eye out when choosing (sorry).
When asked to choose a delivery option, select 'Royal Mail Standard' at £4.99. The code gets you free delivery, so the cost will be taken off the final price.
When we covered a SpeckyFourEyes deal in April, we heard from a number of users about severely delayed deliveries. SpeckyFourEyes told us this was down to an issue with Royal Mail and sent out replacements to those who hadn't received their glasses. It told us that for this deal its Royal Mail account manager will be monitoring deliveries and that it has doubled support staff internally to deal with customer queries.
If you do have any issues with your order, you can contact SpeckyFourEyes via its online form* or call on 08448 20 20 20. If you do this and are still having issues, you can contact us at [email protected] and we'll push Specky if you've had no joy directly. .
Although SpeckyFourEyes says there are good stock levels available, all frames are subject to availability, so they could still sell out fast if demand is high.

Do I understand this right in that you basically order no extras at all, just the most basic. And then they offer you a more premium lenses package for 9 pounds?

My pair turned up yesterday! They even put a small pack of love hearts in the parcel. Thankyou.
They are the nicest fit glasses I have ever had. The only problem is the colour isn't right on me, but that was my choice as they hadn't got the other shades in the style i wanted, they'll do for driving, watching tv etc!
I'll be keeping an eye out for new frames/shades from now on.

Well after my email reply from Specky four eyes on the 01/09 I was told my glasses would be despatched within 3 working days. Today my status has finally changed to my glasses are now in their lab being glazed and I will be emailed when there despatched :disappointed: at this rate I wont receive them to 6 or more weeks after ordering! just not good enough.
I have bought glasses from specky four eyes before years ago, received them within a week or so but the service I have had this time is terrible. Had wanted to order a set of sunglasses but think I will just go elsewhere or maybe order them now see if they arrive in time for next summer.

Just received the following from the company, after telling them I wasn't happy.
" Good evening.
We're sorry to hear what appears to have happened to your order.
Whilst we're waiting for the glasses to be returned to us we'll refund you in full in the next 24hours.
We'll then investigate the matter further and send out a free replacement this week.
Kind regards,
Your Specky Team "

So, mine finally arrived. I paid extra for the anti-glare and they've messed it up.
The left lens is glare free, the right one isn't. I discovered this whilst driving at night. It's really dangerous having two different lenses like that.
I wrote a big email to speckyfoureyes, they sent me a one line email saying
"Please return your glasses using our returns form"
No apology.
So, after waiting a month for them to arrive, I have to take these to the post office and wait another month??

I hope mine come soon. I ordered mine 3rd week in August I think, so a couple of weeks after some of you. I had an email saying they were sorting out glazing of glasses etc and will send another email when it is shipped. I haven't received another email yet so guessing its not been shipped yet. I hope it will be soon

Just had the same as well - looks like they are now finally monitoring the forums and trying to improve (hopefully) - the lead time can definitely improve - a month's wait in this age is just way too much. Otherwise their service is good.

My prescription doesn't mention my pupil distance. By default it's set to 63 on the website. Have people left that as it is or do their prescriptions state the distance?

Hope its not a stupid question - how do you know what size to order, and how do you get the fit on ears right? I know a lot of opticians charge a lot of money for so called "service". I do know that a free prescription is widely available.
Failing that you could just measure the size of your current/old glasses that you know fit and compare them to the dimensions of ones you want to buy. Mainly the width and arm length will be the ones to consider but they also usually list the bridge size (across the nose) and lens sizes.
If you don't have any glasses or can't get hold of some then try getting somebody to help and use a ruler to roughly size them up on your face. Most glasses are pretty similar in size unless the specifically list them as smaller/wider for people with different size heads!

They sent my glasses to a house I lived at 2 years ago and then sent the replacements with the wrong prescription. it took 6 weeks to get the glasses. If they get the order right then you can expect a pair to arrive in about 4 weeks.
It's a good deal but their systems are rubbish.
