they are working on contactless and this is the best out there for taking card payments quickly and easily so dont knock it unless you have used it, I have used sum up for many years, never any issues and at that price its a no brainer

I wouldn't class a maximum of 4 years to be 'many years'. Technically it is 'many years' as it's more than one year, but it's not the phrase I would use.

Stripe is 1.4% but you have to make the payments through a webpage.

Got on of these recently for my wife's new business (paid more for the reader though) best I could find for low-volume transactions (have to spend £4800 per month with iZettle just to match the flat-rate of this). Contactless would have been nice but not a deal breaker for her. Early days but very easy to use and seems to work well!
